April 28, 20169 yr QUOTE (Black_Jack29 @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:06 PM) I agree. I would've added Navarro to that list, but he's too hot right now. Even Avi had a nice series, which is something that I don't get to say very often. Yeah. Team has to be exhausted
April 28, 20169 yr Is this real life? I would still like to see a very solid RHP and LH Bat added before the trading deadline...the sooner the better. If so, what I am thinking could be a real possibility is to exciting for me to even want to say. I don't want to ruin a good thing. But, fung is winning and winning is fung! April 28, 20169 yr QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:12 PM) Lol CSN just showed navarros last triple and that wasn't really even a triple Yea that was a pretty generous triple
April 28, 20169 yr The White Sox just punched the Blue Jays in the mouth. High scoring offense shut down by superior pitching. Bueno!
April 28, 20169 yr Remember last week when we were all like "this low run scoring s*** won't work against the high scoring Rangers and Jays!" What a freaking pitching staff.
April 28, 20169 yr Haha Jays fan on their board just said he'd "seriously consider" trading Bautista for Eaton 1-1. No s*** you would...
April 28, 20169 yr QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:21 PM) Remember last week when we were all like "this low run scoring s*** won't work against the high scoring Rangers and Jays!" What a freaking pitching staff. It's one of the better streaks of pitching we've seen. Keep it rolling as long as possible.
April 28, 20169 yr I'm worried about Baltimore's offense against us. But, I was also worried about Texas' and Toronto's offenses against us.
April 28, 20169 yr QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:21 PM) Haha Jays fan on their board just said he'd "seriously consider" trading Bautista for Eaton 1-1. No s*** you would... To be fair, Bautista is like Joe Carter popular there. That's high praise
April 28, 20169 yr Author QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:21 PM) Haha Jays fan on their board just said he'd "seriously consider" trading Bautista for Eaton 1-1. No s*** you would... He's only asking for $150 million, so they are about to lose him for nothing.
April 28, 20169 yr QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:24 PM) I'm worried about Baltimore's offense against us. But, I was also worried about Texas' and Toronto's offenses against us. If Sale is starting Sunday for a series split, I'll take it. Anything over is gravy at this point. 20-10 after 30 would be pretty cool (4-4 next 8).
April 28, 20169 yr If Toronto really falls apart (I still think they win the East) I would do everything in my power to trade for Joey Bats.
April 28, 20169 yr Author Herb Lawrence just posted that the Sox team ERA is lower than the Sox team batting average.
April 28, 20169 yr QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:15 PM) The White Sox just punched the Blue Jays in the mouth. High scoring offense shut down by superior pitching. Bueno! I would certainly take my chances with this pitching in the postseason. Just get there, Boys. Just get there!
April 28, 20169 yr Well, this may put the scenario of a "baseball frenzy" in the City to a test. I speculated about such a scenario, but never dreamed that the Sox could get off to this kind of start. The Sox and Cubs could really capture the city, once hockey is over. What more could fans want?

April 28, 20169 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 27, 2016 -> 09:31 PM) Herb Lawrence just posted that the Sox team ERA is lower than the Sox team batting average. But batting average is a percentage
April 28, 20169 yr Quintana has a 1.49 ERA over his last 10 starts with 61 Ks and 15 BB over 66.2 innings. Awesome.
