It sort of seems like you want Rodon to struggle.

I really, really do not. I think long term he's gonna be a very good 2, but the Sox have higher aspiration in 2016 than "develop Carlos Rodon".

Nice DP, hopefully saves the Sox some grief.

Dude is struggling on his own

A lot of pitches already with a taxed bullpen

Can't walk a struggling LH. Rodon has so much to work on

I'm going to keep saying until you people stroke my ego and acknowledge it:

1 Sale

2 Q (but really a 1)

3

4 Latos

5 Miguel Gonzalez/Carlos Rodon

There's a glaring hole on this team.

I agree with you. I would say he is a number 4 though, with Latos out best number 3. Everytime I see Rodon pitch he has very poor command, and gets behind in the count more often than not. Wastes a lot of pitches, and when he misses his spot he really misses. However when he hits his spot, he definitely hits it. It just feels like every hitter gets into a 2-1 or 3-1 count though.

Keeps throwing 92 right down the plate

Rodon is looking more and more like a major head case.

Rodon has been garbage.

His command is very concerning.

He's lost his dominant slider by seemingly not using it enough

Fastball straight as an arrow

Slider is flat too. Where is the 96 he was throwing out of college?

Rodon has been garbage.

I wouldn't say garbage quite yet. I would say ineffective however.

I believe its all in Rodon's head. Whenever anything goes wrong behind him he immediately falls apart.

Trying to make him into something he's not

Rodon has been pitching like a guy starting his 30th big league game. He'll be fine.

What happened to Rodon? Such a disappointment so far this year.

He'll figure it out. But man we needed him to be efficient this game.

Sale rubbing off on him

Rodon has not looked the part lately. Lack of control is really concerning.

I think he will get better as the season progresses like at the end of last season

Would have gotten out of the inning with 0 runs if Jackson makes that play.

Lawrie has been swinging for the fences for the past few games.
