Both runs do to the steal.

We picked good pitches to steal on. It's not even because Gattis isn't a great catcher.

Looks like Jerry Sands has silenced his critics for another week.

As long as you keep him out of the outfield, he can be dangerous...to the other team.

Nice insurance run

Keep him from playing any defense. He's bad at first too.

Good thing got insurance

Wilbur Wood (13 in 1973) and Red Faber (10 in 1921) are the only White Sox pitchers since 1913 to reach 10 wins prior to June.

Avila at least made enough contact to get a SAC FLY. Should be a BIT of a sigh of relief in that dugout for the moment. Can't let up against that line-up, though. Too many hitters capable of taking a walk and turning it into a 2-2 game.

Thank god for the insurance run.

well, that run was important!

Thankfully we had a 2 run lead

That wasn't even a bad pitch.

Gattis just golfed it out.

Gates comes up just in time to screw with the Sox. Will be glad to see Houston leave.

Uh-oh.

Luckily, we just added a run there or we'd all be listening to ominous horror movie piano and violin sounds as a soundtrack.

That really was a good pitch by sale. It was at the knees an a couple of inches off of the plate.

Can't fault Sale there, tip the cap to Gattis.

So happy they recalled him for this series

Nice plays by Rollins!

Nice play Rollins

Nice play JRoll

Can we get that run back please?

Evan Gattis is 2-for-3 tonight. The rest of the Astros are 1-for-22.

For anyone who actually watched FOR LOVE OF THE GAME with Costner, someone made a funny remark that Gattis looks like Gus Sinski (John Reilly).

Man, that was a hard movie to watch...maybe because it was the Tigers.
