It must be nice to see the game in such simple terms. Just because a guy is hitting #4 doesn't mean he is a proto-typical type hitter. Dude has four homers on the year and isn't hitting the ball right now.

True, just that bullpen has really struggled getting the 3rd out for the last month or so.

He's a closer, who is used to throwing 10-15 pitches, 20 max. He's thrown 36 pitches so far...he is probably getting pretty tired, and I don't necessarily agree with letting him continue to pitch this inning.

I was listening to the game on radio in the 8th inning, and Ed Farmer said this is one of the best umpired games they have had all year. So far, it's been pretty bad from what I have seen.
