One of those games...

Just for those that want to see it, here is the Machado-Ventura brawl. It's not the best quality but it shows more then just the initial charge of the mound by Machado.

Pitching depth is great, lets see what we got in Shields however.

Abreu looking much better lately. Getting around on pitches much better lately.

Rick Hahn didn't commit to anything with that statement about Anderson. More lawyerly double-speak.

 

 

With Rodon out for now, we really did need another starter in order to keep up with the Indians. The problem is we can't even rely on Latos anymore. Just goes to show how fragile the depth situation is...and also the Shuck/Garcia DH thing isn't going to be A thing.

Fair enough, just think Shields will bring much more certainty/consistency than Latos & Gonzalez.
