Atta boy Tim!

Anderson!!!

I'm really rooting for him, he seems like a genuinely good guy.

Anderson at-bats & fielding probably matter more than any 2016 game itself. Great to see some of this from him. Makes you think the recent AAA improvements are something he's building on

I would really think about sending Anderson first pitch. Get runners on 2nd & 3rd for Eaton.

Given how thin the Sox farm system is, I'm not confident that there were better options.

Will Lamb

Brad Goldberg

Anthony Ranaudo

Brian Clark

Matt Lollis

David Holmberg

All AA (Danish's level) or higher and with better numbers.

Tim Anderson is going to go through a rough adjustment phase like he always does, and then he's going to turn into a hit machine, and he's not going to stop. Also, this is a totally gutless prediction.

If only their bullpen was worth s***, this would be at tie game & an amazing comeback.

Free the speed here

He was called up because Petricka and Webb are done for the season.

As much as I disagree with bringing in Danish in a close game, Shields was only able to throw four innings and that limits RV's options. I would've brought Jennings in, but there aren't enough arms in the bullpen to cover five innings of work per night on a semi-regular basis. Hahn really needs to bring in a dedicated long-reliever for situations like this.

You have to use the pitchers you have and can't burn a few guys out with overuse. what they need to do is their job

You gotta let Tim run here...

Exactly

Tim gona score no? Damn he was flying

I can't help but wonder what this score would be if Garcia did not start in RF and Danish did not pitch

Abreu with a huge opportunity here.

He was going to score

He was going to score

No way

Melky would stay the 3 hole hitter for me. I like this top of the lineup.

Damn. Would've been tied if the steal had been called/worked.

Ooof. Good play by the Tigers. Thought Timmy was going all the way.

Hopefully Abreu can stay red hot

He would've scored because of the bad throw, but would've been nailed on a better throw. McEwing made the right call.

Damn

If he was stealing, he would have.

Damn. Would've been tied if the steal had been called/worked.

And if it had been executed properly
