Last start we were praising Gonzalez and thought he was doing well as the 5th starter.

He's just off tonight. But still has to take his lumps for this performance.

 

I still think Avi would be a much better LF, but that's not saying much.

Reminder there'd be 0 runs this inning if we had a remotely competent RFer

Miguel wasn't his best but it didn't help that Avi f***ed up two plays that lead to f***ing runs.

Almost all of Gonzalez' pitches are within 5-6 MPH of each other.

 

Except when he throws the occasional curve or change-up.

Can we get a backend starter who can throw strikes and get guys out? JFC this has killed the team at times.

What's funny is if we didn't have a terrible right fielder it's still 3-2

Brutal. I love baseball, but 4 hour 9 inning games are a pet peeve.

Could look back on that pitch as a game saver. We'll see.

K'ed on 2-2 pitch but the ump gave it to him on 3-2. Sit down and stfu Kinsler.

I'm starting to think Carroll needs to be back in the starting rotation.

 

At least he can eat innings, if nothing else.

Thinking Avi Garcia can play right field is a fireable offence. And whomever said he could play centre-field when we traded for him, that's an arrestable offence.

Also, intentionally walking guys not named Barry Bonds in the third inning is generally a very bad idea
