Robertson up for the lead.

Putnam for a tie.

At least one would think.

72 strikes out of 103 pitches for a knuckleballer is unreal.

Damn. Should have bunted.

These guys press so much with RISP. That at bat ruined by a bogus first pitch strike.

Rather see Saladino than Avila here

Lawrie got hosed by that first strike call.

Didn't cut down on his swing at all like the situation called for there.

Same pitch to Frazier just now was a ball.

?

Lawrie is the single most frustrating batter to watch.

Bottom of Sox lineup is terrible even by NL standards.

Jesus.

Brett gets so flustered. After that 1st pitch bad call, you just knew he would put his head in his own azz.

Sarcasm

I've never seen a player have such rough luck with a baseball than Avila

Exactly.

Because: "Haven't you seen the league average against this guy???!!!111!!!!"

Avila is striking out here.

Here comes the strikeout

How did Avila miss that 83 mph batting practice fastball down the middle?

Typical White Sox at-bats with RISP this year.

Man, it's horrid.

Avila has struggled all year hitting anything slow. He had no chance tonight, absolutely ridiculous that he got to bat there.

close enough ^^^

After they lose this in heartbreaking fashion, don't worry....no changes will take place.

Anyone can run into one with a knuckleballer. You are basing that off nothing. Coming in 66 hits allowed in 89 innings. 4 or 5 hits allowed tonight. Coats has 0 career hits. You really are bad at math.

How sad a wild pitch away from yet another 1-0 loss. I am waiting for Hawk to say hell with it and just rip everyone

If they're going to lose tonight, just let it be a quick walk-off homer instead of a 13-15 inning borefest...

I think not firing Ventura is because it makes them look wrong for hiring him ... and/or removes their fall g
