Should have been an infield hit for Melky there. What the hell was Abreu doing?

We take that one ...............Q 2 runs

@ChiTribKane With 2 runs so far tonight, White Sox end streak of giving Jose Quintana 1 run of support or less in 7 straight starts.

Good News: Coats got his first ever MLB hit, a double,

Bad News: He got it by swinging on the first pitch like an idiot.

Plenty of guys gets hits on the 1st pitch. There's nothing wrong with that. Pitchers typically try to get ahead since hitters behind in the count do worse than when ahead. That's why sometimes it's a good idea to swing at the 1st pitch because often its a pitch just to get ahead in the count and the best pitch you will see.

Another leadoff walk for Quintana. Umpire squeezing the hell out of him, too.

Quintana has no command tonight at all.

Gona be a grinding type 6 IP start for Q

jesus.

And Lawrie gives away a DP. Darn it. Nice play to get to it, bad play on that flip angle.

3 walks for Q.

Zone is so tight. Hard to pitch to Red Sox if you have to put it right down the plate

A hit? Um, ok. That is a fielders choice at best.

Exactly. I rhink he had time to make the playoffs. Quintana is struggling to find the strike zone too

When you're winning that s*** is fine Lawrie but when you're one under .500 it's bulls***.

No chance he gets out of this Scott free.

f***leberries

Tie game. Still no one out.

Thanks Lawrie. I'd bench your ass for that
