Sometimes "statistical data" does not end in positive results between the lines. Which is the case for Bummer. And it's been a few seasons of "bad luck" results. He is what he is, great stuff but bad baseball results.

What shareholder return? The team will be in the dumps for the next few seasons coming, revenues will take a huge hit while still trying to get out a few bad contracts (Hendricks, Moncada, Eloy, Benintendi). This is heading into Oakland A's level tank IMO.

I 100% agree, but I'm just responding to the poster that maybe perhaps it doesn't go form bad to worse. At lease we got rid of what truly was inept leadership.

While the Getz hire is terrible, I rather dive into his unknown vs what we already knew as a failed leadership under Hahn and KW.

I honestly think there is an imminent sale coming within the next 2 years and who's in charge of baseball operations will be their problem and not the current ownership. They're just going to let this thing tank into the abyss in the meantime. At least that's what I'm hoping for.
