I just spent 4 days in Boulder, Colorado. I have been to Colorado several times in the winter, but never in the summer before. It was beautiful this time of year. Went on some great hikes, golfed, went fly fishing, and rock climbing. Can't wait to get back. On the golf note, the altitude definitely adds distance to your game. It was actually a detriment because it took me several holes to figure it out. I kept hitting the ball further than intended, particularly with my low irons and wedges.

I finally looked at my account and was pretty surprised to see 6 vouchers and 6 discount codes. I didn't expect that much. Unfortunately, of the list of approved shows, most of the ones I'd want to see have already sold out of their voucher allotment. Good thing is that more will come available since these don't expire until 2020.

I felt like once I had the means to cover my own expenses, I didn't want them doing it for me anymore. There were two exceptions for this: they did pay for my cell phone bill (family plan) and my car insurance (again, bundled with their's). I paid for my actual car, though, and any of the maintenance costs associated with it. With all that said, I'm incredibly grateful for the life my parents gave me growing up. I still didn't understand how much money my parents spent on me (and my siblings) until I got into the real world and had to pay all of my own expenses. I don't have any kids, but I can tell they are expensive as hell.

We had that too. I don't remember the exact criteria, but seniors could get exempt from exams. I loved only having to take 2 AP exams and nothing else my senior year.

I accepted a job during my last semester of college, and then moved to Atlanta about a month after I graduated to start that job. I had no choice but to live on my own (with a roommate). And it was no problem. However, I have no issue with kids who want to move home and save money. One of my good buddies at work lived with his parents that first year, and he saved a boat load of money because of it.

Good stuff. I don't get to follow the draft like I used to, so I look forward to more of these coming out. Should be an exciting draft this year.
