Avila leaves game, placed on DL. Narvaez called up

Let's just put it this way. He's a career 609 OPS guy in the majors in 434 career AB's.

That makes Avi Garcia look good, almost.

We MIGHT be better off with Nieto...who's the better defender.

Have you ever watched Smith play an inning of baseball to definitively say Nieto is better?

I think he is talking about Hayes.

First you b**** the Sox kept this guy on the roster during a rebuilding season, then sent him to AA the next season where he fell on his face. Now you are complaining he and his sub .500 OPS aren't around to call up.

It's amazing what you argue about.

Uh, I think you quoted the wrong poster.

And also the White Sox didn't really dump him. He was a 6 year minor league free agent, so he chose what he thought was the best opportunity for him.

But why bother with facts when you can complain about everything without them.

Yes. Nieto was worthless as it turned out. I don't un derstand wht he is even being mentioned.

But anyway, I prefer Navarro's bat in the order to Avila's, any day, and especially in the clutch.

What was our W/L record last time Avila went on the DL?
