  2. What a statement game, wow.

  4. Today

  5. Even thinking bears are better than Seattle this year (darnold is just so bad, they miss kubiak), I thought doing it in Seattle on a Monday night would be too hard. Nope. And - yes underrated how good Simmons is. Flipping your worst position to all pro does insane things.
  6. They were so far and away better than both teams
  7. The Bears were so good that game that Troy Aikman was complimenting Caleb. My god.
  8. Great game all around. Could use some work on the flags though.
  9. I feel you bro, it still doesn't feel real to me that we have a legit top 5 QB. I'm so used to having everything but a QB, but we finally have one. Feels good 😊
  10. Yet so much more fun then the past 4 years. Caleb Wilson is special!
  11. I agree - last two weeks he hasn’t done anything that special, he’s just executed the offense crisply against strong teams and put up nice completion percentages plus yards and protected football. Dude is taking a huge leap this year and I think there is even more room left given how strong his tools are!!! I don’t think I’ve seen something like this ever from the Bears (I was 2 in 85 so that doesn’t count). I hope this is real and not a dream!!!
  12. Yeah this defense has given up points at the end of the half the last 2 weeks. Last week was on a bunch of guys (mostly Jaylon). Today it was on Tyrique for biting on a slant/in when he had no safety help. Allen should probably know better than to do that since it's Tyrique, but that's absolutely something you can't do as a corner on an island.
  13. About only play Id like over on D would be the end of first half play where we were aggressive and left Stevenson on an island with best wideout in NFL.
  14. He's 24, he's only getting better, yeah he overthrew Rome on a long ball that could've iced the game but his prime years are still a few years away. Mark my words, he's winning MVPs in his prime years. I never thought I would say this as a Bears fan, and I have been a fan as a kid in the late 70s.
  15. Never even trailed in either game too.
  16. This Blackhawks team is laughably bad.
  17. This was so fun. Offense did its thing and hopefully is about to get Monagai back while defense was next level with Simmons! He isn’t just great - he makes everyone around him better. I said it a couple days ago - we are about to see a different Montez Sweat who had a monster game as well!
  18. This Bulls team is laughably bad.
  19. We barely blitzed today and didn't spam the double a gap look on 3rd down. I couldn't believe what I was watching.
  20. That was about as impressive a performance as the Bears have shown in a long time. I'd still like to see if they could get Mack back from the Chargers or Nahshon Wright from the Jets.
  21. Last year was fun in a, "how are we winning?" type or way. The team this year are legit contenders.
  22. Four factoids today: November 3, 1983 – Tony LaRussa, who guided the White Sox to a 99-win season and their first playoff appearance in 24 years, was named the Manager of the Year by the Baseball Writers Association of America. It was the first year the organization handed out that award. LaRussa received 17 of a possible 28 votes to take the honor. He beat out the Orioles Joe Altobelli who picked up seven first place votes. LaRussa would also take Manager of the Year honors from The Sporting News and the Associated Press. November 3, 1988 - The Sox named Jeff Torborg as the team’s new field manager. Torborg, a former Major League catcher, and Indian’s manager, gained notable success with the club. His team and family philosophy took hold and a young group of players stunned the baseball world by winning 94 games in 1990. He would be named Manager of the Year that season. He followed up that year by winning 87 games in 1991 before being forced out by then Sox G.M. Ron Schueler who wanted to hire his own man. Torborg by the way, is the only man in baseball history, to have caught a perfect game from Sandy Koufax and a no-hitter from Nolan Ryan as he played for the Dodgers and Angels from 1964 through 1973. He also caught a third no-hitter courtesy of the Dodgers Bill Singer. November 3, 2003 - Former Sox All-Star shortstop Ozzie Guillen was named the team’s manager replacing Jerry Manuel. The “Wizard of Oz” immediately set about changing the fortunes of the franchise. His “Ozzie-Ball” philosophy of pitching, smart/aggressive base running, defense and doing the little things instead of just waiting for the home run would help lead to a World Series title in 2005, the season he would be named Manager of the Year. He’d return to the playoffs with the club in 2008. Before being allowed to leave in late September 2011, Guillen appeared to be headed for a very long career on the South Side but his relationship changed with then G.M. Kenny Williams and a parting was best for all concerned. November 3, 2022 – The White Sox named former Royals coach Pedro Grifol the club’s new manager replacing Tony LaRussa who officially retired due to health concerns in October. Grifol who played college baseball at Florida State and got as high as Triple-A, but never spent a day in the Major Leagues, spent 10 years in the Royals organization and before that had a lengthy stay in the Mariners ranks. His hiring as an outsider, someone who had no connection to either Jerry Reinsdorf or the White Sox organization, marked the first time that had happened in the managerial search since Jerry Manuel got the position before the start of the 1998 season. His hiring turned out to be a disaster and he was fired in August 2024 as the team was losing a Major League record 121 games.
  23. There you go...trolling again! Well played sir! 😆
  24. I'm told they are inviting select season ticket holders to the focus groups. I've been a season ticket holder since 1991. Perhaps they just forgot to invite me.
  25. I can't think of anybody more competent or more deserving to be at a White Sox focus group than me.
  26. Improved over last season for sure. Needs to show me more on the long ball.
  27. Caleb has the potential to be the best QB in the league, since his return from injury, he hasn't tried using his legs like he did before the Minny game, and he has been absolutely monstrous. He definitely can kill you just with his arm, once he's 100%, using his legs is just not fair to the rest of the league. It's not crazy talk to say Caleb is a top 5 QB right now. Now add a legit team wrecker like Simmons? No one, absolutely no one thought the Bears would dispose of both Superbowl teams this easily. If this is a dream, don't wake me up 😆
