It’s funny how you just continue to make up stuff in your own mind that no one suggested. Where are the posts of people saying Getz should have thrown a bunch of prospects at acquiring Adley Rutschman or even Tyler Stephenson?

The fact that Getz doesn't think more people need to be replaced should actually be a positive in the clubhouse.

Wolkow has way too much upside to include him in a trade at this point. He's young, he keeps himself fit, and he works hard.

Boston gave up a sh1t ton of prospects to get Rutsch who is maybe about as good as Teel but no better. Kyle could be awesome if he could just stay on the field..

C for the same reason. Could have potentially been an A or B if they used the Doyle trade package or comparable for a rental starter rather than a CF that can’t hit a lick. Having to DFA Pereira is the poop on the poopsicle of this series of deadline trades.

C ODoyle and Castillo requiring significant improvement over current performance lessens their value considerably. I don’t mind a project but odd time to commit to a couple of them, especially ODoyle. Periera? Eh, whatever. Now leaving his, what, third org headed to his 4th? Could be more than just performance at play there.

Getz concluded that he was not going to trade prospect gold for 4-5 weeks of a catcher. If Teel comes back at or near 100% on or around Sept 1, that would be a big boost.

The 1.098 OPS over 47 plate appearances in AAA during rehab. The post you quoted said “might” be coming around, so I’d say those numbers at AAA show his offense “might” be coming around.
