What's next?...
I mean, you've yet to actually articulate why he's a dork, so that's on you. I'm just telling you what kind of people were called nerds and dorks, and what kind of people threw those words around, growing up. And, as I said, I don't know adults that actually use those words as an insult, so this entire fucking tangent is super weird. What is a dork? Or a nerd?

Let's look at the bright side - the Sox are going to have an absolute STAR in Caleb Bonemer
Yet over they past 50 years the Yankees average 92 wins per season and the White Sox 80 wins per season. It's not too small of a sample size. It's mostly modern post free agency baseball. Why do I worry that the team will continue to make the same mistakes they have for 50 years? Because the history keeps repeating. Could this be the positive little bump among the negative? I would say it's very likely.

You don't have to be a dork to get good grades and make money. Only dorks think that.

I'm not bitter at all, but most of them certainly are. It's just funny. Maybe if they decided to be a little more nerd and a little less douchebag growing up, they would have a job that doesn't suck. But learning and good grades were for the nerds and dorks, so I get it. 🤣 P.S. Nerds and dorks are the only reason you're able to have this forum to have this silly discussion to begin with.

Holy s%*# the level of cope among you nerds is hysterical. Labeling people as too stupid and thinking of them as lesser than you because they work labor jobs. Thinking they are lesser than you because of their income. What a bitter dork you are!

What's next?...
I see the people from childhood who used to make fun of people for being nerds or dorks occasionally. Most of them are killing themselves working 60 hours a week doing miserable labor jobs because they were too stupid to do anything else. I always laugh thinking back to those days while sitting on my couch making twice what they make while working half as much. Nerds and dorks, indeed.

Shoutout to Ishbia for doing the work that Lee should be doing: asking “What comes next?” after the Amtrak maintenance center goes up and the Sox leave Bridgeport. But to your point, you’re right. That amount of land in that nice of a location is far too valuable to remain vacant. I’m sure nobody in Bridgeport would say no to a large mixed-use housing/retail development.- What's next?...

This thread is "Gold, Jerry Gold". Presently this ranks just behind "The 78+ The Railyard = the future of the Sox and Fire" as my fav.- What's next?...

I just don't actually know any grown adults who still refer to people as nerds or dorks. It's straight up junior high s%*#.- Let's look at the bright side - the Sox are going to have an absolute STAR in Caleb Bonemer
My fav part about bonemer is we don’t have to force him to be a SS- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Yawn.- What's next?...
I don't see it as a bad thing and fully embrace it. Hell you probably work for a millionaire or billionaire nerd yourself. We kinda run the world.- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Wow. I was wondering how they’d work around the change in elevation at the Hallmark site. Credit where credit’s due, that looks beautiful.- Let's look at the bright side - the Sox are going to have an absolute STAR in Caleb Bonemer
Right. The "perspective" of what is the best light for the Sox. Funny how that works.- What's next?...
I'm seeing people throw it out there on Twitter that the salary cap may just be a ploy to wear out the MLBPA for a few months, then offer up a floor for a tighter luxury tax. In that case, Castillo for 1 year may be a better risk than a FA for 4-5 years.- Let's look at the bright side - the Sox are going to have an absolute STAR in Caleb Bonemer
I understand. It's scary to play a thought experiment that steps outside your comfort zone of blaming, name-calling, moving the goalposts and making excuses. Really. Think about it. Maybe I'm not "making excuses". Maybe I just have the ability to put it all in perspective.- Let's look at the bright side - the Sox are going to have an absolute STAR in Caleb Bonemer
Or, you could just state your arguments without doing this questioning thing to make me type what you want to put out there, then scold me that "I'm not answering your question". Brian Cashman worked with the Yankees for 8 years before they promoted him to GM. He was hired because George Steinbrenner knew Cashman's dad. That seems pretty unwilling to mix it up and bring in differing opinions. Getz has just staffed the organization with multiple outside hires. So is that your crafty way of asking me if I think the Yankees' way of nepo-hiring from within is preferable to the White Sox way of hiring from outside? The Yankees' success shows that there was value in promoting from within. I feel that when an owner fires the exec-VP and GM on the same day during a 100-loss season, that says very loudly that he wants change. If Getz got in JR's ear and convinced him he could take over and not make any changes, the joke's on Reinsdorf, because this organization and team look a lot different from the 2023 version.- What's next?...
His own broadcast team trolled him on air by calling him a geek. I guess they're all 7th graders too!- What's next?...
Like I said, to each their own. Some people enjoy nerds on the broadcast for 162. Not for me. His dork shtick got old for me. I didn't say drag the guy out back and shoot him. I said I didnt like him on the broadcast. Is that adult enough of a response for you Mr Maturity?- Let's look at the bright side - the Sox are going to have an absolute STAR in Caleb Bonemer
"I could"... as if you didn't just go after the Yankees in your never ending Sox sales job... or literally mention the Dodgers...- The Official Scoreboard watching thread
