  2. I think everyone needs to pump the brakes on Coby coming back and being the guy from last year. 4 months after wrecking your knee is risky af both in his health and the defense competence
  3. Today

  4. After seeing all the post day coverage, I really want to see Coby Bryant and Motivated Dayo return to the field. Also trade for Mack, but Jim Harbaugh is insane. Nahshon can probably be add for a 2031 8th rounder.
  5. Feels like the Bucs are gonna need Baker to do more than handoff all game and only attempt (not even complete) three passes lol
  6. I have no strong feelings towards Harris but I definitely felt like if one of the three of him Leila and Grote were getting bumped, Leila should be the one. But clearly it don’t matter
  7. He has been doing that stuff for a few years now, pretty sure he called either semifinals and final game last year
  8. Marshall Harris called the St. Charles North @ Brother Rice playoff game this past Saturday for the NFHS Network. It was the first time I heard him since The Score let him go a couple months ago. He’s not bad doing the commentary for HS football games.
  9. Was listening to Payton and haugh this morning. Payton described Olin Kreutz as “speaking truth to power” but in a way that meant “Olin is speaking truthfully about how powerful the bears are”
  10. Mariners hire Jason Kanzler as manager, Walker McKinven interviewed. Mariners Hire Jason Kanzler As Manager - MLB Trade Rumors
  11. I got tickets to a luncheon one time celebrating the sox HOF players post-Baines. JR was there. Seated at my table were a bunch of long-time season ticket holders. Their whole life revolved around the sox. They did the cruise to Mexico with sox players. They had field of dream tix. They just loved any player and any year. It was wild to me, a completely different relationship to the team than I had and whole different kind of die hard. Those are probably the people going to the focus groups.
  12. It doesn't matter but it is mildly annoying how we keep playing teams that are relatively hot but turn out to fall apart after we play them. Falcons were getting a lot of love post-Penix return, crumbled. Pats recovered and were red hot, lose to us then almost pull a clunker vs. miami. Seahawks have been dominant defensively but now back to .500 (good, since we prob need the wild card). Panthers started decent then look like dog poo. Now the Bucs, who have a bad record, are coming in red hot again with baker back and a stout defense.
  13. They were replaying the previous play and it was a quick snap. It was covered like a high school crew. Even after the replay they didn't realize what had happened. I told my wife and son, they was a goofy play and then in the replay we saw it but Buck and Aikman were still mumbling to them themselves about Caleb rolling right (he was slot left) or something. Hopefully Awful Announcing may pick it up.
  14. Yeah seems to be that kind of guy who will bounce around 3-4 times this offseason before finally sticking
  15. I missed the play... do you think there is a video since it wasn't the espn highlights?
  16. I would trade Caleb Williams for Josh Allen. Outside of Allen, when you factor in age, potential….I’m having a hard time coming up with another name that would make sense
  17. I mean, I had to watch that replay to figure out exactly what happened too lol, it was like Caleb teleported to the middle of the field and then had the ball in his hands and then threw a 20 yard strike lol
  18. Also anyone catch when the Bears ran the wildcat and got he ball to Caleb for a throw and neither Buck or Aikman had any clue what happened. Not sure if they watch the game on the teleprompter or what as the play was not covered on tv properly. They were mystified even after seeing the replays.
  19. I chuckled with my wife that the Blackhawks and Bulls were both playing last night and not a sports fan in Chicago should have cared. Not sure if either were at home but you couldn't have paid me to go to either of those games.
  20. Welcome to the Super Bowl conversation Chicago Bers. I would have liked to have seen Johnson get a few more carries especially late as Swift was awesome and so key to the success. Johnson had some nice runs and could shoulder some burden. Every yard was an absolute grind. Great to see Rome step up. The Bears CBs are absolute garbage. Johnson and Stevenson are an embarrassment but that DL will cover for them. Bush is insanely underrated. Get Bryant back for the ending 3 division games. That'll be the season right there.
  21. What a statement game, wow.
  22. Good Better Best
  23. Even thinking bears are better than Seattle this year (darnold is just so bad, they miss kubiak), I thought doing it in Seattle on a Monday night would be too hard. Nope. And - yes underrated how good Simmons is. Flipping your worst position to all pro does insane things.
  24. They were so far and away better than both teams
  25. The Bears were so good that game that Troy Aikman was complimenting Caleb. My god.
