  1. Past hour

  2. In a word, no...
  3. Correct - I think we are going to only be looking for a number 1/2 type or someone who has the potential to rebound to that status.
  4. Certainly if they make it worth his while. Just stating that it could complicate things.
  5. They aren't getting Miller. Would be absolutely shocked.
  6. Am I the only 1 that doesn’t think adding another SP is that important?….unless it’s someone that will be a top 3 starter for the playoffs. Realistically we are getting 60 innings out of the #5 spot the rest of the season. I don’t see why we would give up legit prospects for someone like Singer that won’t pitch in the playoffs. I don’t think piggybacking Fedde and Schultz to get those 60 innings will result in any more losses.
  7. Doesn't mean he can't waive it.
  8. Shits and giggles: White Sox send Bonemer, Hagen Smith, Mason Adams, and Edgar Quero to Cincinnati for Hunter Greene, Emilio Pagan, and Tyler Stephenson. Whatda ya think?
  9. To a bunch of teams. He can waive it though.
  10. Doesn't Gausman have a no trade to the Sox as part of his deal?
  11. They do what they have to do to win, regardless of cost...have to respect that attitude myself. Man do they love getting sluggers.
  12. I'd love to have Dan join on a regular basis.
  13. Certainly possible. All depends on which owners start putting pressure on the others to settle as they have always done in the past, and how soon it happens. I say that because I can't see the MLBPA breaking ranks on the salary cap demand.
  14. Honestly at this point I'd rather replace Stone with Plesac than John with whoever. I'd also love to have an experimental booth with Bacon the play by play and Plesac the color but I doubt Bacon wants to put himself through that. It would be cool if he gave it a shot, but it's a lot to take on and he probably doesn't want to commit to 150 games.
  15. I'm guessing if (when) the Sox acquire another starter, Schultz goes back to Charlotte. Again not the kids fault, he's learning on the job at the highest level and that's tough to do.
  16. There’s no way those 3 cost that much. If that’s what the Mets want then they are insane.
  17. All I can say is the broadcast mistakes especially going into his third season are inexcusable. They aren't understandable for a professional broadcaster. Yes we all make mistakes, I did as well but I also wasn't working for the White Sox. The franchise deserves better in all areas including the broadcasting end of things. That being said, if they make the playoffs and wind up having a winning season I think he stays with maybe a new two year deal. Brooks won't want to rock the boat. Although again so much depends on who may be running the team next season from an ownership standpoint.
  18. Anyone else old enough to remember when Tuesday's loss was supposed to be the start of an often predicted but yet to be realized soul crushing downward spiral? 😅
  19. This one would hurt me as well. I like guys that just get people out regardless of stuff.
  20. Credit Sox on 35th lol. But I would have to believe Getz and Co know this as well.
