  1. Past hour
  2. Random article posits that the Mets could beat the Reds' offer of injured pitchers with RHP Jack Wenninger (Mets #13, MLB), OF Nick Morabito (Mets #16, MLB) and picking up all the Robert cash. How NY Mets can outbid Reds for Luis Robert Jr. after latest trade swerve - MLB
  3. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/article/what-happened-with-munetaka-murakami-how-did-a-player-projected-for-a-9-figure-deal-end-up-with-34-million-212938881.html More articles in one week than OHearn his entire career. Thought the joke comparing this with the Joc Pederson FA deal last year was pretty on target considering how often he was linked to the Sox in the last 5-7 years.
  4. Sox scout Takahashi signs...Takahasi? Well, we've only been stressing this for about give years now. Better late than never, I guess.
  5. Bleday has perfect defensive profile for a corner. you could put him in CF just to fill some time in '26 but it'd be nice if '26 has some competitiveness since i suffered so long just now and as a result stare at my family with eyes of hate(daily)
  6. If the Reds do trade Hunter Greene, they won’t be able to afford to jettison young pitching unless they get more back. But they really are missing one more impactful middle of the order hitter.
  7. Well we got a "Pacific Rim" scout now! Getz is For real tho, it's about time we starting finding asian players again. The silly thing is the Sox got useful seasons out of Shingo and Iguchi so it's not like JR didn't know the value of Japanese players. Or maybe he just forgot honestly.
  8. How are you feeling about Smith? He had a solid showing in the AFL, I believe. Not sure how much that matters, but it seemed like he was getting better near the end of minor league season, as well.
  9. He spent alot of time on Petty...seems to suggest like in the other report that there also need to be something else added from CIN. Ruled out Duno and Stewart.
  10. It’s mostly just due to no success on international market. I don’t really agree on the reaching part and the “punting” is necessary to spend on premium talent without extra picks.
  11. Today
  12. Re depth, the Sox have 11 45+ or better ranked prospects, the fewest of the teams reviewed: Brewers 20; Dodgers 18; D’Backs 18; Reds 15. This has been persistent. A lot of reaching and a lot of punting.
  13. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/article/the-starting-pitching-market-has-been-particularly-slow-this-offseason-whats-the-deal-015357345.html
  14. Cubs and Yankees both seem to be out on Tatsuya Imai Leaves SFG AZ SD A's NYM Phillies Orioles Braves
  15. If the choice was him or Pereira/Hill?
  16. Isn't that because they were concerned with his total innings jump, just like Crochet the previous year down the stretch? He went from 90 to 146...so they probably capped him at around 150. And also using LHP reliever openers against LHB dominant 1-6 hitters?
  17. Surprised by the relatively low rating for Braden. Too much focus on a limited number of AA at bats. Going up two full levels in one season after not appearing the summer before due to injury should be viewed as a complete positive. Schultz was the top ranked LHP prospect in baseball a year ago. Hope he does better than the likes of Rauch and Kopech with those high accolades.
  18. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/pirates-tied-kazuma-okamoto-mlb-171155977.html Pirates still looking to add Okamoto Red Sox and Jays in the mix
  19. I beg to differ on the weather of Tokyo. I hate summers there. Nagoya (Aichi) is way worse. Google Maps is your friend these days with the Japanese rail systems.
  20. The video of the social media girl trying to hit Grant Taylor is pretty good.
  21. Yeah I wouldn’t give 3 years to Bader. 2 maybe and even that might be too much. JJ Bleday could also make sense as a stopgap option.
