Bart is a solid backup catcher…I don’t understand where are this hate is coming from in regard to him. Lee is despised by his pitching staff and has been condemned to Charlotte. Haase should probably be called up, but won’t be nearly as good as Bart. We’re now stuck with Romo until Teel returns no matter what.

Way too early to make calls on any of the trade additions. That being said, they need to have a plan with Castillo. Nothing seemed seemed different about him tonight….obviously it’s only been a handful of days. But this idea that a change of scenery will magically fix him up is ridiculous. Getz’s entire trade deadline was more than likely half of his next offseason’s spending. He literally only acquired players with additional years of control for the future, performance be damned, because they would be cheaper than free agent options going forward. After all, what team that is vying for the playoffs trades for a starter with a 5 ERA and a CF with a .571 OPS?

He was 2-5 with a walk. I can't imagine what you would say about a 4-strikeout 0-5.
