I honestly don't know why this is the answer to "three of their top hitters got injured". Robert, Yoan and Eloy are on the team. They have guaranteed contracts. I'm assuming there was no trade interest for Yoan or Eloy, and nobody got close to what Robert's worth. They had to go into the season assuming they had a starting 3B, DH and CF. You're saying it like, "you don't get to claim that Robert, Eloy and Yoan being out of the lineup at the same time had any affect on their won-loss record". When it really does. They wouldn't be a run-away first place team with all three, but they wouldn't be vying for worst record ever, either.

I don't know why this matters. Knowing players can get injured doesn't mean you don't have to replace them when they do.

I didn't suggest that at all. That's a silly leap to make. I'm sure the White Sox give their players training programs to follow in the offseason. It has been suggested that the team is somehow responsible for forcing players to follow them.

I would think that Braden Shewmake, hitting 5-33 at AAA, would be the lowest hanging fruit.

I'm surprised nobody is screaming that the White Sox should have known he was gambling, and it's Chris Getz' fault, somehow. They already think the team should kidnap players during the offseason and force them to work out the way they're supposed to.
