I know people were saying it's only been a month or whatever but with an ERA south of 1, he's obviously not being challenged at this level. I dont think we have a sample size issue anymore. Dude has killed it in almost every start. Charlotte is a band box but it will be a good challenge and he needs to be challenged.

I think the service time thing doesn't matter because it was always thought he was going to come up this year at some point, so the first full year towards the 6 years would still be 2025 either way, but clearly he would be overwhelmed right now vs say July or August, so I agree. There's no good reason for him to be up now. Should have given him a few more months and at least some AAA time

Way too risky to use a Top 5 pick on a 1B. If the bat turns out to be anything less than completely savage, there's no value there.
