  1. Rays make baseball look so easy.
  2. Not with Rick Hahn in charge
  3. Time to hear the Robert injury excuse coming.
  4. 35 pitch inning, bullpen will need to go 15 outs here again. Way to ACE it up Dylan
  5. Imagine having the Rays as your team to cheer for.
  6. The Sox made the playoffs because they played in the weakest division in the sport. They weren't anything special because of weak pitching. Even with a Harper or Machado on offense.
  7. We'd be the Angels in that case. No thanks.
  8. in hindsight, not signing $300 million free agents will be a blessing when this tear down happens. Thanks to the epic failure by this "core".
  9. The 7 key pieces Hahn got back on his trades, all are a complete pile of s%*# except for Dylan Cease.
  10. Hope Sosa didn't turn in his apartment lease in Charlotte.
  11. Wish we could have that Chris Sale trade back and had gone a different trade direction.
  12. Bolder than this, Rick Hahn still keeps his job with that season outcome you presented.
  13. It's a shame Sosa didn't jump on this opportunity to take away 2B for good. He'll e gone as soon as TA is ready. More Andrus, yay!
  14. Banks is another Rick Hahn special. Keep trying out guys who everyone except for him realize suck at baseball.
  15. Bobby Cox would struggle to play .500 with this team. We need to realize it's no longer the manager, the players are the issue. Rick Hahn is the issue. The Sox have created a working environment where if you don't feel 100%, you are automatically told to sit down. It's hard to build continuity with players not playing. I'd like to ask Konerko and Abreu how often they felt 100% when out on that field. You have to push yourself to play over pain. The Sox have created a clubhouse where players accept quitting.
  16. And luckily they closed that window on Lucas too. Imagine the messs that would be right now. It's a coin flip approach, maybe instead start being like the big boys and pay the players when it's due.
  17. It's their only way of holding guys beyond their arbitration years, since Jerry refuses to ever pay market value. It backfired big time with this group.
  18. Yeah, they ain't fooling me on another rebuild. No fucking way.
  19. And maybe instead of half assing in free agency with mediocre acquisitions, take the $75 million you'd give a guy like Benintendi and invest in your front office, scouts, instructors, etc. Go poach the personnel working for the Cardinals, Guardians, and Rays and pay them double.
  20. Staying healthy is part of being talented.
  21. I think calling this group talented, at this point in time is a stretch. The sample size is good enough for me, this is a very average collection of players assembled. We got fooled by the scouting and development.
  22. But let's remember, Tony LaRussa was what was causing the Sox to suck. Not the players, not Rick Hahn.
