  1. Jose Ruiz must be at home saying, "and I'm the one that was cut?"
  2. Sosa plays here as if he really enjoys the Restaurant scene in Charlotte
  3. That's the problem with that guy. He's so hot and cold all the time. Watch, he'll get hot for a couple weeks here soon only to land on the DL thereafter.
  4. Our bullpen has to have a +2.0 WHIP so far, right?
  5. It be nice if they'd give him at least a 4 week look to sink or swim, but you know Hahn is gutless and will move him as soon as TA is ready.
  6. How did so many people attend this game? Some gimmick giveaway?
  7. 1.5 over under on Graveman base runners this inning
  8. Every pitching inning is high stress for the Sox. The offensive ineptitude (for 2+ seasons) just doesn't give these guys room for error.
  9. Not putting Vaughn in the bust category yet, but it's hard to imagine him ever being an elite .900 OPS guy in this league.
  10. Well, at least LaRussa was fired.
  11. Victory within this loss = Giolito. Please make yourself somewhat useful for some sort of deadline trade this year.
  12. Crazy to think that at one point Bummer was close to elite when it comes to bullpen arms in baseball.
  13. It would need to be an Judge type HR run for some foolish team to take him on.
  14. Andrew Vaughn is not a good fielder either. We have about a half dozen qualified 1B who can't field that position either.
  15. That's what you get when a non baseball suit runs a baseball team. He's our Ted Phillips.
  16. Correct. So if cement feet Sheets is good enough to play RF because of his bad, than Burger 100% should play over Alberto at 3B under the same concept.
  17. Insert any White Sox manager name for the past 5 years.
  18. Missed most of the telecast last night, but did Burger boot a ball or something playing 3B last night?
  19. Agree. When interviewed post game after their win on Monday, Alberto was quick to point out that Grifol talked him into an opportunity with the Sox. Sounds like Luery 2.0 in Hahn allowing his manager to carry one teacher's pet.
  20. It's always "precautions" only to find out it's a trip to the IL thereafter. New training staff, new dugout manager, new coaches and the nagging injuries just keep finding us. I don't know if this Core, had they been 99% healthy for their careers, would have amounted to a perennial winner currently. But it sure sucks to have never found out.
  21. You and I can agree it's chump change, but that's not how Reinsdorf looks at things historically.
  22. Live to see another inning with the lead, now need a cushion here. PLEASE !
  23. This is the downside of SPs not covering enough outs. Defense let Cease down today, but the bullpen has to cover way too many each night so far.
