4/10- Sox at Twins, 1:10
Burger putting his life on the line out there, I still don't get how this guy doesn't keep a roster spot.

You haven't been a Sox fan long enough to realize $15M /yr basically handcuffs this team (by their own choice) from doing other things down the line. It's a Reindorf poison pill.

4/10- Sox at Twins, 1:10
Not sure how many teams were lining up to give him $75 million after slugging < .400 last year. Slick Rick was convinced otherwise.

But he gets 20% off plus they throw in 6 free therapy sessions.

GT Easter Sunday: SOX @ PIT, 12:35 pm, NBCSC
It feels like every team has a better back end of the pen than we do.

Ooof, I'm already counting down that Benintendi contract.

I'll take better umpire work vs trying to end games quicker. Get it right MLB

GT 4/8: SOX @ PIT, 5:35 pm, NBCSC
There is something special about his lack of fear up there, even at 0-2 vs a lefty.

Benintendi and Robert need to be flipped 2/3. Just not enough hard contact from Andrew to stick as a #3 hitter.

Fire Rick Hahn
While the attention and blame was being pointed to the corpse of Tony LaRussa, one week in and it's easy to see that Rick Hahn was probably more at fault for the Sox mess than people want to put blame at. Awful and expensive bullpen, a starting rotation that has zero pitch efficiency to get past 5-6 innings, a lineup lacking in HR power (and getting destroyed in your own park in that department). But let's hand out the richest contract in team history to a guy who slugged under .400 last season. ?

4/6/23 Giants @ White Sox 1:10 Game Time
Understood, but you can't manage every game with the bullpen looking to cover 15 outs. The team will be toast by July at this pace. Lynn just needs to be better, he's one of the highest paid players of not the highest on this team

4/6/23 Giants @ White Sox 1:10 Game Time
People already bitching about "why was he still in there." Relax the f*** up. The starters are going to need to eat up innings , quickly. Bullpen is running on fumes one week in because of the lack of SP innings. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Eloy to IL, low grade hamstring strain - retroactive to 4/4
So in essence, we lose the lone 30 /100 threat from this lineup.

Eloy to IL, low grade hamstring strain - retroactive to 4/4
I agree with you here, but Rick Hahn sold us on him as being a huge part of the "Core". We are down to having him DH only, and being lucky to getting 120 games from him each season. That's pathetic and so disappointing.

Eloy to IL, low grade hamstring strain - retroactive to 4/4
Re-read, I'm not saying keeping him from the OF was a bad idea. It was a great idea, he's a negative defender. But the fact that everyone assumed health for this guy just cause they kept the glove away from him it's pretty comical at this point.

LOL, it took 5 games. Lowering the opportunities is irrelevant for this guy. Yes, that's simple math right there.

It is one of the most uncomfortable humans to watch run, ever. Spanky LaValliere, Paul Konerko, even the Big Hurt looked so much more athletic when running the bases. This guy is just weird.

Eloy to IL, low grade hamstring strain - retroactive to 4/4
Remember when "not playing the OF" was a popular take to keep this guy healthy?

Kopech
I'm pretty sure he was tipping his pitches. I was sitting 18 rows up on the on deck circle for the Giants and right after Joc hit the 1st HR, he immediately talked to the next hitter about it as he returned to the dugout from circling the bases. Joc was all over Kopech in the 3 ABs he faced him.
