2022 ABs
Segura 354 for 1.8 WAR
Harrison 386 for 1.4 WAR
He's marginally better. But not worth $8.5 million for me if I think Rommy or Sosa can pull a 1.5 WAR on their own for $600K next season.
2022
Segura 1.8 WAR
Harrison 1.4 WAR
I think it's about time we roll dice with young folks here. If we can't get 2 WAR from Lenny/Romy, then we just suck at developing even average talent.
Rick Hahn was 100% right, "you can't throw money at the problem"
He just admitted he sucks all aspects of his job, and the most important one being this, drafting.
So Kaplan being full of s%*#? Like Herb, food guys, etc?
No s%*# the Sox will be getting OF help from somewhere. The way these guys just want to jump ahead as if they have something is so annoying to me.
Brantley's bat would excite me a bit. Don't know how much OF he still has in him, but a professional batter of his quality is badly needed on this team.
It's 13 years, LMAO!
I don't care if it's $27 million per season. If years 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 suck (as we have plenty of samples to go around saying they will), that's $135 million of dead money on the back end. It's absurd.
