Don't see the point in shopping Lopez. We won't get anything. Might as well see if a new pitching coach can unlock something.

My top option is La Stella. He can DH and rotate positions including shifting Jose to DH at times. Grandal can get some DH or 1st... again shifting Jose to DH. Imo La Stella gives you a LH bat, plays multiple positions to spell people and in case of injury. He also doesn't block Vaughn if he's good enough to come up in May. If we sign him we can rotate DH between: Him Jose Collins Grandal Then see what happens with Vaughn. He just makes a ton of sense for us. Hey won't be too expensive. Just sign the guy or let the guys mentioned above handle DH.

If we land him and SP (any at this point that just costs $ (kubler, Richards, Q) I would be ecstatic. I don't even care about a back up C. Let Collins play there and DH while La Stella plays all over.

I'm confident that Katz will be a great coach. Then it's on the pitcher to use the knowledge. I'm very optimistic with Cease. Lopez would be an awesome bonus as a long reliever and spot starter.

I don't. All he has to do is get Cease to solid #4 performance and manage the BP well. If he does his 2021 will be a success in my eyes. That's not too much to ask at all when Cease has the stuff and MLB experience. We also have a skilled BP.

It's like some want him to fail. He gets on base and doesn't K. He does need to improve his D and base running which i think he will based in his previous play.

Id much rather sign Richards, Kluber, Q than send prospects to Pitt for him. I just don't see enough separation between them to say let's trade vs spend.

I might be in the minority but I think they've done a nice job during the rebuild after realizing that the patchwork job wasn't working.

based on where we drafted Collins we have to find out what he's got. I think the start off w/ him and trade if he cannot handle it. with that said i would not mind bringing flowers back.... but i think he'll be looking for more playing time.

what did we do w Mark and Sale? I cannot remember but didnt we use the in the BP and then move them to starters and did not have them stretch in the minors? I could be wrong. Any reason why we could not do that w/ Crochet?

We for sure need another SP. We can't go in depending on anyone post Gio DK Lynn. Id love Richards or Klueber I'll take Q Odorizzi etc Need another BP piece. Hopefully a closer to keep rest of squad as is. Arguable if we need a DH. If we sign a sp and closer in ok with our current DH options.

I do know someone. Me. I was hit by one and was injured. Nothing major but it was still pretty scary. Does not change the fact that most people are close to someone that does it, has not been caught, and yet they dont hold such grudge/hate towards said person. Not sure what you mean with "But give him a pass". People, every day, are given "passes" when the court knocks a DUI down to a reckless. It's done a lot and with nobodies like you and I. Not just people w/ high status. Now, if you feel no one should be given a pass than sure. You are entitled to that opinion and I can u/s why you are upset TLR was given one.

Hopefully the TLR DUI posts can stop sooner than later now that this done with. I'm pretty surprised how many people here carry such strong judgment bc of a DUI (Yes. 2. Spread a part). More than likely you've driven over the limit several times in your life. You more than likely are good friends with someone who has and still does. They/You were probably "lucky" enough to not have been caught. DUI cases are knocked down to reckless all the time. It has nothing to do with his status.
