3/23 - White Sox @ Cubs - 3:05
Can't say enough about Moncada's offense this spring. and seeing him moving at will on base paths is great. MIP isn't really as big a deal in MLB as other leagues...but him being right is the best FA deal Sox could have made all off-season.

White Sox are so spoiled on announcers. This crew is major meh.

Fegan had an article on Hendriks yesterday...and it mentioned throwing 95 on a B game field, so I would imagine he is fine and still getting work in.

2021 Spring Training Cuts Thread
If it's one of the magical type seasons the narrative is that Lopez comes out of nowhere and pitches well for like 10 games and we all laugh about it later.

3/21 | White Sox vs Diamondbacks | 3:10PM CT | Fox Sports Arizona
I was one that was glad to see him go (was not a fan of his attitude)...but I don't remember too many people complaining about getting him for 3 mil. That is an absolute steal in terms of potential value. People were upset Sox didn't pony up more cash for one of the other options though - Kluber, Paxton, Quintana.

Let me see if I can track my set down. I honestly will probably never revisit it and will gladly pay it forward or make copies of it.

I think the Sox can play .600 baseball
Love the optimism. IF they stay healthy and win 65-70% of their division games, I think 95-97 is obtainable. Health is crucial though.

An extension announcement on the broadcast would be nice... Vaughn can come out of the dugout with a giant oversized check thats memo is "hey Gio...we're rich, biatch! "

3/16 vs Padres, 3:10
same thoughts. Not a fan, but the results looked great yesterday and maybe motivation, plus Katz, plus some more oomph on that fastball makes him at least a solid pickup until Kopech ramps innings in August.

Agreed. Outside of his first outing and that promise, I just see a very hittable FB and control yips.

To be fair there are about 50 humans on earth that can lay off that pitch...but yeah, he needs to be one to be elite
