I have been on the record plenty as one of the biggest Madrigal supporters on this board. Has anyone even questioned if the organization was worried about his recovery at all? And for a guy that was sold with ++ speed, his leg injury could impact that fallacy even more. Look, he is gonna be a .300 hitter his whole career. will we miss that. YEP. does it matter if they win a championship this season or next? NOPE. Hate the fWar longterm impact of this deal, but Hahn saying screw that shows just how much they mean business. and Kimbrel very well may be the closer in two months. that type of insurance is just unheard of come October.

gotta say...Madrigal over Crochet is SOOOO much better. I loved madrigal, but 2 years/2 injuries and his defense/speed was not as advertised. Buying a 2nd baseman is EASY in Free Agency. Hahn does it again.

well, at least 16% of them are for sure. they have never reached that 85% threshold. If you are a pro athlete and will take supplements to help heal or take a doctors advice to rehab an injury...but won't take a common courtesy shot to stop a pandemic....seriously, go fuck yourself. Indians Reddit is very meh on this. They feel like Cesar's defense has been a let down this year, but his being the 5th best clutch HR hitter has them bummed that they traded him to us specifically. and everyone is underwhelmed with Konnor because he needs to be rule5 protected next year, and they don't want that. So at least we made their fanbase even more miserable than their awful existence already.

My only worry about this move is that Leury is going to get a LOT of RF starts. We need Robert back fast, so we can get Vaughn-Robert-Engel/sheets
