They are playing on the road in an NL park against the best three pitcher rotation in baseball outside of the White Sox rotation. Of course they were going to lose 2 of 3 for sure. Hopefully on national tv tonight they can salvage some of this and play a clean game.

I really love Eloy being ready...but damn I was so hoping for Eloy and Robert to emerge from the corn in Iowa and lead this team to like 105 wins and a world series.

yeah, that is what I was thinking as well. Also, probably were looking at trade upgrades over this time as well and thinking about managing the future 40 man. I don't think Lucroy is a big addition, but it just makes sense if they want any type of bat in that spot.

Lucroy was assigned to AAA Braves affiliate today. He can reject and get FA status, which I assume he will if the Sox checked in. I assume he is the catcher starting Saturday.
