QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 28, 2015 -> 03:28 PM) This is a minor criticism but I'd get him new music. Something like an 80s hair band to match his new look. Just me. I'd completely re-package him, name and all. Dolph Ziggler is a horrible name if you want to be taken seriously. I thought he should leave, go to Japan and just be Nick Nemeth. I think he'd be huge in Japan. -

Jeff could have waited until Monday and been able to sign LoKi, James Storm, Austin Aries and Magnus without making any deal with TNA. A working relationship/talent swap between GFW and TNA is really the only way either will survive. My suggestion to Jeff and Dixie would be to merge, change the name to Global Impact Wrestling and try to use the international deals Jarrett says he has to assemble some sort of roster capable of competing for the available #2 promotion status. -

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 08:12 AM) Ratings did get a nice bump cause everyone did know he was there. But ya, pretty much a waste of an appearance, that said I'm definitely looking forward to Brock-Seth. The third hour was the lowest-rated of the night, so some people must have given up on him making an appearance. It's going to be interesting how the Brock/Seth buildup plays out. It seems like they're prepping Seth for a face turn, but Brock is so over with the crowd right now. Then again, aligning with H and Steph is a sure-fire way to make sure Brock is full heel. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 05:47 AM) The crowd was expecting it and the announcers pretty much no sold it. If Lesnar is still on a deal with limited appearances, it was stupid to blow one on this. At least have him come out early on so word can get out and maybe the ratings get a bump with people tuning in to see what happens later. His return was a non-factor. -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 16, 2015 -> 11:11 PM) Brock came back. Guess no one cares. The return was blah. Staredown, nothing done. Seemed like a waste of time to bring him back like that. -

QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 04:54 PM) Question for you TNA followers... Are Robbie E and Zema Ion any good? We got them coming into the promotion I work for on the 20th. I like them. Jersey Shore gimmick, whiny annoying heels. They play it very well, and Zema is very good at the flippy s***. -

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 1, 2015 -> 11:32 PM) Tommy Rogers, one-half of the "Fanstastics" 1980s tag team, has reportedly died at the age of 54. Rogers (Tommy Couch) was found dead in Hawaii on Monday morning. Way too young..................on a happier note Trusted insider sources tells PWTorch columnist Sean Radican that Samoa Joe has signed a full-time contract with WWE. His merchandise sales were so off-the-charts impressive, Vince McMahon and Triple H pushed to get him signed to a full-time deal right away. Obviously, he impressed everyone at the latest NXT TV tapings. He will fulfill his scheduled independent dates, but otherwise will be worked into the WWE schedule full-time, either starting in NXT or shifting quickly to the WWE main roster. I'm not surprised that the Joe shirt is selling well. They made a good shirt for him. No cartoons, the logo is understated, the SoCal thing works. If I wore rasslin' shirts anymore, I'd pick one up. -

I love the part about Destination America advertisers not wanting to run ads on Impact. "Look, I LOVE advertising on shows about ghosts haunting wooden sheds in the middle of the forest, but I don't want my products advertised on RASSLIN'!!!" -

QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 16, 2015 -> 03:53 PM) In a post for The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestlezone), Dave Meltzer reported that Destination America has been losing interest and support with TNA due to its low ratings. TNA is still one of their highest rated shows but the network reportedly expected higher numbers. This is why they pulled TNA’s Saturday shows and moved Impact to Wednesday nights. On the forums for F4WOnline, it was asked how DA could cancel Impact if TNA has a two-year deal. Meltzer said that Destination America has an out clause in September. I think with the move to Wednesday already things are not looking good. I think Wednesday is a good gamble for DA and TNA. Friday has always been a bad night for wrestling shows, and TNA would follow Lucha Underground and only clash with the second half of NXT (although I can see WWE moving NXT to 8 CT to damage TNA). It would create kind of a Must See TV kind of thing for wrestling fans. It could work. -

QUOTE (scs787 @ May 4, 2015 -> 10:28 PM) I was very underwhelmed by the Zayn match. The match just had a weird feeling to me. Perhaps there were some nerves going on there. Zayn's shoulder injury is apparently legit. He's having an MRI to look into it further. -
QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 5, 2015 -> 06:41 AM) I haven't listened to his newest album yet. I don't think I would fit in at his concerts though. Maybe I'm stereotyping. If it was a club show, I might feel that way, but an outdoor show in early August? The makeup will be running off the goth kids' faces big-time!

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 07:19 AM) Still a Manson fan but I've soured on Corgan. Isn't he coming off as just a miserable ass recently? He seems kind of the same as always to me. Billy has always been a whiny, bitter ass one minute and likable the next. I think he's just a moody guy and it depends on which Billy you get that day. I've never been a big enough fan to think about seeing Manson, but it should be a fun show.

Got tickets for Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson in August. My wife really wants to see The William, and I am not against the idea. Hope the time machine is included in the ticket price.

Former Twisted Sister drummer AJ Pero. Died in his sleep on his band's tour bus. 55 years old. RIP AJ. His band, Adrenaline Mob, titled their most recent EP (released last month) "Dearly Departed".

QUOTE (farmteam @ Mar 16, 2015 -> 06:08 PM) Ha, what an interesting venue. Never actually gone there just to see the band. It's actually a really good room for music if they don't oversell it. They oversold Everclear HUGE and it was ridiculously uncomfortable.

The thing that could work in his favor in LU is that they don't feature every performer every week, although I don't know how they tape the shows or how the AAA schedule fits in there. At his age and with his injury history, a part-time schedule is all I can see him doing. At any rate, it will be good to give Mascarita Sagrada someone to work with. -

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Feb 23, 2015 -> 09:08 PM) How many people do they have to use to get to try to get Reigns over? Having Bryan do a infomercial tonight to justify Reigns is over the top. The infomercial is not done yet. They trotted out their very best salesman to try to sell us that lemon.
