  1. Hall.....shut the f*** up when Bischoff is talking. Shut up all the time, but especially when Bischoff is talking.
  2. How about the cVs for their new nickname? Ace bandages and gauze for Nash Prescription medication for Waltman And Hall can just drink all the cough syrup he can get his hands on.
  3. Daniels has saved this bit. Now I'm actually interested in a Morley/Daniels feud. Nice!
  4. I know I'm being a little nitpicky, but the Val Venis bit just doesn't work for me without the getup and the "stage name". Morley is a talent, but it's like he's doing an impression of himself.
  5. I'm enjoying some of it, but I'm certainly not enjoying the Nasty Boys "attacking" Team 3D with plastic serving trays, empty gym bags and empty plastic garbage bags. The only thing the Nasty Boys could do that I'd enjoy is retire.....again.....for good.
  6. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Jan 14, 2010 -> 08:33 PM) The band is a poor name, but hopeflly it leads to something decent to put over some talent I'd be more optimistic if they seemed even a little interested. I'd like to see more matches like The Guns vs Generation Me and less time wasted watching Nash talk in his sleep and Hall slur his way through a segment. I expected Hogan to get his buddies paid, but I'm not liking what The Buddy System has produced so far (Bischoff excluded from the criticism, of course - he's been great).
  7. Unfortunately, "The Band" and Bubba The Dull came on and put my TV to sleep. The Band??? That's the best you can come up with? And HEY YO, Scott - maybe save the drinky for after the tapings. Wow. But now The Beautiful People woke my TV right back up!
  8. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 14, 2010 -> 01:48 PM) Why is this not the Blackhawks rally cry yet? http://statestreetsports.wordpress.com/201...-of-the-future/ Oh my. That is putrid.
  9. Vanessa Lopez: "I LOVE THIS GAME!!!....and most of the guys who play it!!!!!"
  10. Okay, here's my Top 10 Most Played songs on iTooooons: The Riverdales - Last Stop Tokyo The Briefs - Silver Bullet Thor - Anger III Everybody Out! - Home Flatfoot 56 - Loaded Gun Oh My God - Get Steady The Professionals - 1,2,3 Alkaline Trio - Time To Waste Boston - More Than A Feeling Automatics - Trash
  11. I was most interested in seeing Megadeth anyway - their new CD f***ing KILLS. I'd quickly buy a ticket for Megadeth, Testament and someone like Overkill or Death Angel. I've seen Slayer 6 times already, but 7 would have been nice.
  12. I'll post mine when I get home, but rest assured.....somewhere in that Top 10 WILL BE....... More Than A Feeling. Oh hell yes.......
  13. Slayer postponed their tour because Tom Araya needs back surgery. This sucks. I was going to see them with Megadeth and Testament next month.
  14. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 07:32 PM) Russo was the one that said the Orton thing. . Russo/Bischoff similar boat . And yeah, Kofi hasn't lived up to his potential, failed push :S Yeah, you're right. It was Russo. He'd f*** up Orton's storylines if he got him anyway.
  15. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 04:53 PM) I'd like to be the permanent Raw GM. Critic, make it happen. TNA says they want you as Raw's permanent GM.
  16. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 03:36 PM) I am all for new fresh feuds / wrestlers. Sheamus so far is cool, I have not seen him wrestle yet - but hes good on the mic, good look (very different then normal), and offers new matches, so of course I welcome it. Orton also is one of the guy who I enjoy (not mark out for, but I feel is ok). I just think hes been in this same situation to long. It just gets stale (if he ever faces HHH again I will puke). So glad Cena didn't win. Also, anyone notice Ortons extreme pissed off at kofi this past monday? Very interesting. Kofi to get demoted now? lol. Orton yells "STUPID STUPID" "GOD -F*CKING DAMINT" during the match. As far as Austin goes - it's useless, I dont care, These guest hosts are whack, they offer very little purpose, just put a normal GM there and have that go. It can't be that hard to get one good GM for a little. Let Regal do it or something. These guest hosts are just killing the show (along with alot of other things ). I am enjoying Sheamus, I have to say. He was kind of quick-pushed, but that's okay. Like you said, he offers new matchups, and that's been desperately needed for a while now. Plus, he doesn't bore me on the mic. I read an interview with Eric Bischoff and he was asked his list of 5 wrestlers he'd like to steal from WWE. His list: Randy Orton, Randy Orton, Randy Orton, Randy Orton and Randy Orton. I have been far less than impressed with Kofi Kingston. Boring as hell on the mic and doesn't keep me tuned in while wrestling. I flip back to the NHL on Versus when he comes out. I'm looking forward to the Rock and Austin for no other reason than the fact that they know how to talk. Same with Bret - they know how to speak to a wrestling crowd in a live situation. The guest host thing is something Vince loves - entertainment-show blurbs or "ESPN moments" at the expense of his primary TV show. I'd love Regal as permanent GM.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 09:26 PM) I'm guessing Tyson is working with DX and will make Jericho lose. A Tyson bad guy/good guy swerve??? That would be GROUNDBREAKING!!! I kind of liked the Miz/MVP segment, although I'd have liked to see a harder edge in MVP's promo. The words were there (if a little repetitive), but the delivery was a little "off". I'm liking the Miz a lot lately. He's won me over.
  18. Another dead wrestler under 50 years of age: http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/5829.html - Former WWE Superstar, boxer and politician Tony "Ludvig Borga" Halme was found dead in his apartment at age 47 yesterday. Borga worked for WWE in 1993 and 1994 and most notably feuded with Lex Luger. After retiring from pro wrestling, he tried MMA out and later served in parliament in Finland from 2003-2007.
  19. Poor Brian Anderson. Can't even start for the Royals now.

QUOTE (juddling @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 06:47 AM) Finally got around to watching Nacho Libre at the urging of some friends. Those people are no longer my friends. I liked Jack Black in High Fidelity. And nothing else ever.

Just finished "Gasping for Airtime" by Jay Mohr. A very interesting read about the behind-the-scenes politics and stresses at Saturday Night Live. Man, does he ever come off super-whiny, though. Next up, "Heaven and Hell: My Life In The Eagles 1974-2001" by Don Felder.
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 06:44 AM) Dear Hawks Fans at the UC: Your team is now the #1 team in the league and a Stanley Cup favorite. Please dont try to start a "Detroit Sucks" chant at the end of a game vs. the Wild. First of all, Detroit wouldn't even qualify for the playoffs today. Second of all, all that matters now is getting a new banner with the Stanley Cup on it next to the one from 1961, not anything to do with the Wings. Thank you. Old inferiority complexes die hard.
  23. Quarter-hour breakdown for Impact: Hour 1 – 15min Intervals 1.58 1.70 1.78 1.71 Hour 2 – 15min Intervals 1.88 1.30 1.42 1.16 Hour 3 – 15min Intervals 1.17 1.21 1.19 1.30 Good news = highest ratings they've ever had Bad news = couldn't bust 2.0 at any time and the third hour was much lower on average.
  24. I just meant that maybe they believed (or were led to believe) that Hardy's celebrity status would make this kind of just go away. Like when Lindsay Lohan drove with a BA level twice the limit and spent 84 minutes in jail due to "overcrowded conditions". I think TNA believed he wouldn't be indicted or else they'd have left him alone, too.
