  1. That's a touchdown. If it's not overturned, that's a mistake by the zebras.
  2. For me, my one daughter is the right amount. She is a terrific kid, and she's all we need.
  3. They sign a guy for 3 million coming off a bad and injured year, and they non-tender one of the few relievers who didn't make me want to vomit. Awesome.
  4. If this means Carrasco's out, I don't like it. If DJ's still around, this signing is fine.
  5. Frigid Friday Morning Shuffle: Plasmatics - Tight Black Pants Ministry - Just One Fix Jim Carroll Band - Nothing Is True Rancid - Lock Step & Gone Guns N Roses - There Was A Time (demo) Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime Rush - Tom Sawyer New Order - The Village Sugar - Anyone Supersuckers - Gone Gamblin' and the At Least It Ain't Snowin' bonus track: Naked Raygun - Soldiers Requiem
  6. QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 11, 2009 -> 10:41 AM) I mean, he really kind of has a point. His hair covers it pretty well most of the time, though.
  7. QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Dec 10, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) True, but as the replay showed...he cut off Gaborik with the knee. That was sweet and will be a goal on the Stanley Cup winning video montage! Using the knee to deflect Gaborik's stick was great presence and instinct. Simply put, that was the best play I've ever seen from Byfuglien.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 10, 2009 -> 10:22 AM) Is that sarcasm? He's always been blazing fast in a straight line. I can't remember him ever blowing by two guys from the defensive zone like that, getting around the corner and attacking the net.
  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 10, 2009 -> 02:01 PM) I am very disappointed WWE didnt run anything about Umaga/Eddie Fatu on RAW Especially since he was rumored to be returning to WWE soon. Very disappointing that Vince couldn't at least run something for him.
  10. Another low-scoring OT game tonight. Go get that second point!!!
  11. Tonight's 35 point loss wasn't exactly a "heads held high" outing either, although the Hawks are really good.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 8, 2009 -> 07:59 AM) If Niemi can become an OK number one goalie (in other words as good as Huet), you give away Huet to the first taker and take your chances. That $5.5 million could be huge to this squad going forward. At least for this season I don't want them dealing Huet. I like having two strong goaltenders this year, and I'm not sold on Crawford at all as an NHL goalie. In the offseason they can try to find a taker for Huet and I'll take my chances with a slightly more battle-tested Niemi.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 8, 2009 -> 12:12 PM) Hogan saying Jeff Hardy, Kennedy, and RVD on the way to TNA. Kind of surprised about Hardy Maybe TNA won't test?
  14. QUOTE (G&T @ Dec 8, 2009 -> 01:17 PM) Gatorade drops Tiger says it has nothing to with incident. Decision was made before incident. CNBC "when I'm on my way from one mistress to another, I find that Gatorade helps replenish the electrolytes and minerals I've lost during my strenuous activities. Without Gatorade, I would have to take a break between transgressions. THANKS, GATORADE!!"
  15. Spoilers for this Thursday's Impact: http://www.lordsofpain.net/reports/tna/spoilers/5275.html All I'll say is this looks like a VERY strange show.
  16. If TNA doesn't step up their storylines, it won't mean anything to be head-to-head with WWE. I hope they have their ducks in a row (and their top guys locked in long-term) if they're serious about waking Vince up. Hogan alone is not enough to sustain interest IMO, and basing their long-term TV strategy on the ratings of one show could be a huge mistake.
  17. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Dec 5, 2009 -> 10:25 PM) 4. And Your Bird Can Sing The Beatles My favorite Beatles song!
  18. Niemi was fantastic again last night. Glad the guys were able to get him the win.
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 07:43 AM) Schaub got KTFO by Nelson, Nelson gets the 6 figure contract. Kimbo and Alexander danced in circles for 5 minutes, threw a few punches, wrestled around just a little bit, and Kimbo got the decision in a boring match. Mitrione KO-ed big baby(missed the fight). Schoonover lost to McSweeney, he really never had a shot, McSweeney was all over him. Schaub did a nice job escaping the Vanilla Mudslide, but took a HEAVY shot to the ear/temple and went night-night. Jon Bones Jones got DQ'd for using the point of the elbow to Matt Hamill's face, but Jones' ankle sweep takedown of Hamill was SICK! That Kimbo/Alexander match was worthless.
  20. 10 for a lazy Saturday: Bob Mould - I Hate Alternative Rock The Cure - A Few Hours After This Otis Redding - Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay Thin Lizzy - Mexican Blood Boomtown Rats - Someone's Looking At You Spacehog - Space Is The Place The Alarm - Only The Thunder Queens of the Stone Age - Regular John Foil - Reviver Gene Death Angel - 5 Steps To Freedom And the super-special Ultimate Fighter Marathon bonus track: Motorhead - Runaround Man
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 5, 2009 -> 10:45 AM) Heck the funny part is that Dallas Texas has had more snow than Michigan City Indiana has so far this year. I wouldn't jinx it if I were you. I remember you getting hit pretty hard by God's Vomit last year.
  22. What a sloppy match this morning between Portsmouth and Burnley. Burnley's middle-of-the-pack in the standings, but they played like absolute crap. You can really tell the difference between the top clubs and the lower level clubs.
  23. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 4, 2009 -> 04:32 PM) To those who despise Christmas, I recommend the video that I posted. Uninterested. Christmas is for my kid and that's as far as my interest goes.
  24. Wow. Very sad news. 36 years old is obviously way too soon to go. RIP Eddie Fatu.
