I genuinely cannot fathom some of the reactions to this, both here and on twitter. He's a gold glove caliber utility infielder who fits well into the clubhouse, doesn't cost anything, and provides valuable insurance to multiple positions. He is EXACTLY what we needed for the next half of the season, given that Leury is out, Madrigal got hurt, and Moncada is perpetually banged up.

As someone else said a few minutes ago, maybe he really did hurt his wrist at the end of the game yesterday. Christ.
