Sox to Sign Adrian Houser
Lighting money on fire with houser. He stinks.

BRUUUCCCEEE throws out a potential Sox/Cubs trade
I'm still in the Davis Martin is not good camp, so I'd take any top 100 for him.

Rick Hahn talks rebuild and collapse
Spending a lot on a bunch of littles. Having two good years that end in poor postseason performance. Then completely diving because of a lack of depth and poor roster construction/spending.

Rick Hahn talks rebuild and collapse
It's funny how similar the orioles rebuild path has taken to the White Sox.

Old Saying.
Show me that elko bump you were talking about. Looked it up: 2 Sundays ago they had 19k+. Last Sunday with elko they had 16.8k.

Workman DFA'd after 1 MLB game
Sox facilities have been fine. They've lacked some tech and a consistent structure and expectations throughout the org. I've said it before but you could have hired consultants for a couple months to tell you those things. I also am not buying the analytics push. They haven't exactly expanded that team or it's given power in the org. They also haven't hired anyone of prominence in the field.

How does losing intentionally work in the MLB. What edge do you gain for setting records of bad. There have been many rebuilds in sports history. None as bad as the White Sox, in baseball. Stop pretending what's happening is normal.

Old Saying.
It's a bit concerning that Taylor, Schultz and Smith all can't throw strikes now. Davis Martin will have to buy a ticket to the next white sox playoff game.

Could the Rockies get the record?
Talent wise? The Sox had negative 6+ WAR as an offense last year. That was 10+ WAR worse than second place lol. Their pitching WAR is propped up by one player who isn't on this year's team.
-
Could the Rockies get the record?
Huh? Of course you need things to go wrong to be bad, but the Sox lived up to their badness statistically speaking.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Probably be a sell out now today.

We have hope, we got The Pope!
Brother sounded pretty offended. They didn't sound like a both sides family to me!

Ouch: Meidroth hit in head with pop up
Beckham's was a team fail, for sure. This one was just on Chase and it's pretty inexcusable, but yes it happens.

Ouch: Meidroth hit in head with pop up
Idk, infield flies are worse. My question is.... is this worse than the Beckham fail to lose the game on the infield fly??

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Teams trade for ceilings at the deadline, not an avg performer, imo.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
How would Charlotte impact exit velocity. His wRC+, which is league adjusted is 183.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Elko has a bunch of balls hit over 110 mph. Meidroth did not.

XWOBA up to 344. 63rd percentile. Launch Angle up 5% compared to career average as well. A lot to like about the profile right now.

Colson Montgomery to AZ Complex
Hmm, draft a player who goes on to get worse every year after showing talent, success and tools at lower levels.

Colson Montgomery to AZ Complex
Ahhh, got it. Ruin the player so he's so bad he can get custom one on one help. Brilliant thinking, not sure why i didn't think of that.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
People coming into their own at 26-27 isn't insane or completely out of the ordinary. He probably isn't but there's a non-zero chance he's a guy. Those exit velos should give some hope that he's a different player than he was.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
Still having a good chuckle over Tim Elko selling tickets... I guess if we're counting his friends and family he'd add a few to the crowd.

Colson Montgomery to AZ Complex
Most successful organizations have the structure and tools in place at each level to work on failings like this. You'll notice other teams aren't sending AAA top prospects to Arizona. This, if anything, is another large black eye on the developmental skills and tenure of Chris Getz.
