Soxtalk TMZ - Tim Anderson knocked up a woman that isn't his wife
Why though? We know nothing about their relationship. From my perspective, other people's relationship is none of my business. I don't judge or involve myself in that business unless we're talking something illegal.

Soxtalk TMZ - Tim Anderson knocked up a woman that isn't his wife
yeah, not sure why anyone cares about stuff like this. tim was caught cheating last year on the interwebs. Luckily Tim isn't playing the game of husband professionally, because I'd wipe the floor with him there! Anyone looking to an athlete as their be-a-good-husband example is looking in the wrong place, that's for sure!

6/11 White Sox vs Texas Rangers, 1:10
Sox gotta be the only team in baseball who calls a guy up for like 1-2 games for the Bpen and throws that guy in a high leverage situation consistently.

Sousa in another close game lol

No it didn't. Clearly states odds moved against them. It was by 1%. 1% is a huge move for a manager move in the 6th inning of a game youre already losing by 2. If my math is right, if the game was tied that number moves to 4% on a single managerial move.

Yaz can barely move. At the game watching him last night and his base is just not there. Huge hit late but unless they don't think rest will help, it's crazy to have him catching like this (b2b day after night) when he can barely make it to first base. Legging out that double yesterday was hard to watch. He should be on the IL to see if his legs bounce back otherwise he's not gonna hit for any power ROY.

Maybe Tony, in his mind, is proving that data and stats are stupid.

Your infatuation with low-key defending La Russa is incredibly odd.

6/10 White Sox vs Texas Rangers, 7:10
There's also just no way that La Russa knew those numbers (within the past 3 years) right at that moment. Also, those numbers clearly mean absolutely nothing. This is likely the tub of dumb analytical shit Dave Duncan's kid pulls out to claim they're using numbers. Wild pitch was thrown, and within 5 second Tony signals to IBB. Tony likely can't remember what he had for breakfast, let alone some split like that on the fly within a window. I fucking hate this guy. I can deal with stupid, but tripling down on stupid after everyone shows you you're stupid is just maddening stuff.

Tony triples down on his stupidity after everyone in the world shows him he's wrong. This guy is the worst kind of stupid.

Hawk is and also was an idiot, so there's that. He was our idiot, which was great but let's not cite him as a baseball logic authority.

I'll be honest; on the internet, I'm very brave and would walk out that door the minute I was undermined by Jerry to this level (if this fictitious scenario is even real), but in the real world I'd bet all I own that there's zero chance I'd give up an MLB GM job. Not exactly a lot of those going around.

I just hope everyone understands that Tony La Russa isn't going anywhere. Lot of chatter about how that had to be the straw that broke the camels back and he's on his way out. No chance. I don't want to hear about poor Hahn either when Tony isn't fired.

Trestman was right up there in regards to in over his head, and completely incompetent... but Trestman wasn't as smug and douchey as Tony. Tony may take the crown.

Never seen a manager make national news as much as Tony this year.

Not that I didn't expect it, but it's more concerning that Tony is doubling down and genuinely thinks he was right.

6/9 GT: LAD @ Sox 1:10pm (Cease vs. Anderson)
If it isn't Barry Bonds, it's still the IBB with the bases loaded, BUT the 1-2 count is like .000001 millimeters behind it on the ruler of stupidity.

6/9 GT: LAD @ Sox 1:10pm (Cease vs. Anderson)
Not sure if serious. But La Russa let Cease throw 45 pitches in the 5th inning; allowed the Dodgers to bat around. It wasn't really Dylan's fault, but no way La Russa should let him throw that many pitches in an inning. In a 1 run game in the 6th inning he brought in their worst reliever (Sousa). Sousa went on to suck, give up a run, but then he was in a spot to get out of it. 0-2 count to Turner, with 2 outs, and a man on first. He throws a ball that gets away a bit and Freeman takes second base. La Russa decides he's going to intentionally walk Trea Turner with a 1-2 count to face Muncy because he's left handed (despite the fact that Muncy hits lefties better than rights.) Muncy proceeds to hit a 3 run homer. Muncy then calls La Russa a b**** when he crosses home plate. We all laugh.
