  1. Thank goodness there is a game tomorrow.
  2. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 04:00 PM) Have we ever tried to have actual pictures of everyone in their avatars? Dunno, but I need a new avatar. My Greek worry beads from last years playoff run are a little stale. :banghead
  3. QUOTE(White Sox Fan For Life @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 03:59 PM) A NOOB what is that? Is that what you call beginners? Exactly..its common internet lingo.
  4. QUOTE(White Sox Fan For Life @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 03:54 PM) Yeah I didn't take this cyber talk seriously, it just made me laugh! I thought everyone was messing with me since I was a beginner! Actually you're a NOOB..and yea thats why most of us were messing with you. Just go home and study your Sox schedule, pop quiz tomorrow, apparently at sleepy's house.
  5. Wow this thread really took a turn into an clusterf*** of major proportions. MERCY
  6. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:46 AM) This thread is starting to make my head hurt from laughter and confusion. I think it has ran it's course...time for it to be retired.
  7. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:37 AM) I gotta say the glittery pink text in the sig just didn't give it away. So if I put glittery pink text in my sig will you look at me differently?
  8. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:35 AM) Just talked about this on the drive in this morning... I would love to go - just can't let go of my teen years.. LOL. But no way in hell I'm even thinking about paying face for those tickets. C'mon Steff she is a Material Girl, what do you expect to pay for that kinda entertainment?
  9. QUOTE(White Sox Fan For Life @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:32 AM) You respect yourself so much that proving a girl wrong will show that your actually lazy! Well thanks for ending this thread, you should know that all the dudes on this site are afraid of talking to girls so now that we all know you're a female... *Crickets*
  10. FORR-EVV-ER *please note the use of bolding and obviously CAPS LOCK to emphasize the recommended length of time that this thread should last.
  11. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 08:46 AM) Yea.. because knowing the schedule makes us all such pampas asses. :rolly Bwahaha This thread is already in the running for best thread of the day!
  12. First of all stop being so weepy. Secondly, if you call your friend tonight and they actually give you updates to the game, then you probably need to find a new friend.
  13. QUOTE(valponick @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 04:59 PM) How is this trip coming along? Also, is there a limit to the amount of tickets we can buy? I'm thinking of going but would like to bring my familiy, probably about 10 of us. Pretty sure there is no limit..I bought 8
  14. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 02:15 PM) Not really. I have no problem with him grabbing a 3 inning save. He's that type of guy and he's obviously pitching well. I heartily endorse this BMac for three innings idea. I doubt it's gonna happen
  15. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 10:31 AM) That is what all kansas fans think, and most likely he will come back. Any updates on Darrell Arthur yet Jimbo? I heard that he was going to be making a decision soon but I havent heard anything...
  16. QUOTE(JimH @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 10:27 AM) Huh? Crede is in the lineup. Yeah I noticed that after i posted it..lol I really need to refrain from posting during tax season, all of my current posts have a gage-esque quality to them. :banghead
  17. This sounds like a lot of words to say..my sister-in-law has cooler friends than you do.
  18. QUOTE(ShoeLessRob @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 02:59 PM) That ball was destined to be a homer but this god damn wind is driving me nuts. Its called adapting to the conditions, both teams have to deal with the wind. How about hitting a few line drives? Or maybe Pods can get on and steal a base, oh wait the odds of that aren't very good.
  19. Seeing that broad in the red dress definitely made my time well-spent while perusing the American Idol thread that I know absolutely nothing about.
  20. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 10:43 AM) I'm not near ready to put him in the same sentence as Bmac. Its been a long time since we had a pitching prospect of his caliber. Jon Rauch? :banghead
  21. I'm probably a few months behind all of the music junkies on this site but I'm really enjoying the Band of Horses CD.
  22. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 01:45 PM) No, his point is that some of the old-timers are now the new whiners, and those bullet points are the complaints ascribed to them. Ahh..maybe I should read the posts before responding. Thanks! There is no emoticon for being an asshat so I will go waddle away back to the world of my cubicle where I reign supreme.

    Wage Talk

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 06:05 PM) You been mainly doing personal or corporate returns? At least on the bright side just another 10 days or so and you'll get some much needed Rest and Relaxation. Found out I start September 11th and I'm already dreading busy season. I heard it was extra rough last year, but I'm with with most of my firms clients having already gone through SOX a few times now it could mean for a little lighter busy season (but as a first year I'm sure I'll get jacked). Odds are I'll be in South Dakota for 1-2 months of my first year Hell I think corporate is what being a CPA prepares you for. I'm sure you'll have tons of options, its just a matter of suffering through a few busy seasons before making the jump over. I'm pretty much on all personal returns right now. This is actually my third tax season so I might look around a little this summer. I have to take the last two parts of the CPA this spring, ideally I'll be done with that then I can venture out into the vast unknown. South Dakota? Nice... Not sure how much real work experience you have but you will quickly see how little college prepares you for this stuff. :banghead
