Keuchel to Sox, 3 years, 55.55 million; 4th year team option
He has to reestablish value first.

This is good. When Kopech and Rodon are ready Gonzalez and Lopez can go to the pen.

FS: Going Deep with Alex Destino
Well done. Destino had some crazy exit velocity numbers last year. He really hits the ball hard. He has to work on elevating it more and he's also older for his levels so he has to get moving but if he does he could be a1B/DH option going forward.

Eno Sarris Biggest Remaining MLB Needs And How To Fill Them - CWS
The Rays got Meadows, Glasnow and Baz for god awful Chris Archer. There is absolutely no reason for them to even discuss a lesser package than that for Blake Snell.

Eno Sarris Biggest Remaining MLB Needs And How To Fill Them - CWS
Woods mechanics are so awful I don't see how Coop could work with him. He does nothing that Coop preaches. He could get out of whack and they will have no idea how to help him. Unless they just tell him you're your own pitching coach. Go get em, Kid.

I'd rather the Sox trade for Gray and Murphy and the Twins sign Keuchel and Gonzalez.

Wade Miley to Cinci
Miley was stellar for 5 months of the season butstarted tipping his pitches so that's why his September was so bad. He would have been a great get at that price. Can't wait to hear how they fucked this one up.

Kluber deep in the heart of Texas
Yes he's a good relief prospect but a highly volatile relief prospect. I read the Indians asked the Angels for Brandon Marsh. If they value those two players equally they are absolutely overvaluing velocity. It's a smart move by Daniels to move those types of guys for more solid players.

Kluber deep in the heart of Texas
The Rangers may have found something here by trading with a couple teams that may be overvaluing velocity. First they traded 2 time TJ guy Peter Fairbanks and his 100+mph fastball to the Rays for Nick Solak and now they traded Emmanuel Clase a 22 yr old with 23 career innings and a 100+ cutter to the Indians for a top of the rotation starter. They got a two very solid players for two highly volatile arms. It's a good strategy. I'd sell high on these guys all day long.

Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
People get too wrapped up in romanticizing the opening day roster. It's a long freakin season and Kopech will get his starts and innings. I'll be the first one to call this team out for being short sighted but starting Kopech in the minors is a smart move.

Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
It's easy to make a bad team mediocre. It's difficult to make a mediocre team good and extremely difficult to make a good team great. I have zero faith in this front offices ability to make this team good let alone great.

Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
Anyone who actually believed that is a fool.

Bumgarner and AZ nearing 5 yr deal per Passan
I don't give a shit what they sign for just sign one of them.

Kluber deep in the heart of Texas
Very different situations. Cleveland went into last season trying to win and despite Kluber getting hurt and only making 7 starts still managed to win 93 games.

Kluber deep in the heart of Texas
It would be funny if Steele Walker were in the deal.

FA SP: What to do after the Wheeler miss?
Why does he have to give a discount to sign one of his players? Why can't they just pay the price that all other 29 teams are willing to pay?

Why has Hahn failed?
Chicago loves to over love players who play the game The White Way.

Playoffs?!? Playoffs?!?

The cost of starting pitching
Cease threw 124 innings in 2018 and 141 last year. He's 24 years old and as strong as he will ever be. There is no reason for him to be on an innings limit.
-
The cost of starting pitching
That's fine. They have 4 off days in Mar/April not counting rain/snowouts. They will only need a 5th starter for a couple games. Bring him up on May 1.

The cost of starting pitching
$3M guaranteed $7M incentives. Could earn $10M.

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
Because David price at a reasonable cost has value.

Matt Lisle speaks out
Stay tall stay back stay closed. If a pitcher does that they feel they can help him throw consistent strikes.
