There is a number that should get it done. The player and team both want Robert to be in Chicago. I suspect we will be seeing Robert & Madrigal in a few weeks. There is a number that would get it done...just need to fine it.

The offers will dictate who is traded out of Bummer & Colome. Anyone can be traded but good pieces don't get traded other than in good return deals. Abreu is another situation. We either extend him or trade him in the next two weeks. If you don't extend or trade Abreu you end up with nothing after the season. I certainly don't think the FO is giving Jose a qualifying offer.

If he wasn't...I have really had it with the FO.

Sign an extension and come join us in Chicago.

Inevitable.

Charlie is a 25th kind of guy. Just as well he works on his game in Charlotte.

I like your analysis. Puts things in perspective.

Keep McCann and make an attempt to get Grandal. Two good catchers is better than one.

I would feel better if they were losing on purpose. They really are playing this bad.

Cooper needs a promotion out of this job.

We all know how that ended.

The FO has no incentive to bring him up until next May.

It's a no brainer. He signs an extension and comes up now or we see him next May.

Girardi would be my choice.

Probably means Timmy is more important than I realized.

There are only 30 of those jobs around. Even the most unappealing of them have no problem attracting a good one.

Rutherford has been getting some good press lately. Hope there is something to it.

With 25 guys in slumps...I wouldn't think there was any time to listen to music.

And around November 1st we will start craving a baseball fix. Countless arguments about free agents and trades. Spring training will roll around in February and we will be ready to start the whole process again.

I commented before the game my guess was the game would become unwatchable in the fourth inning. They got into the fifth so overperformed a bit.

Encouraging to see Cordell get a little streak going (hit in each of the last five games). Hitting up to .242. With his tools he might still develop into a good player.

Eloy would have just as many if he could stay healthy. I have no doubt Eloy will hit just as many as Solar with time.

Those people who think Eloy can't play the outfield should watch Solar play right field. Yuck.

When I hear Moncada, McCann and Anderson give credit to Severson I will believe it. You are the first person I have heard give credit to Severson for McCann's improvement at the plate. I hope you are correct but I have my doubts. For the most part I think hitting coaches can help the Sanchez, Engel, Tilson & Cordell types. The stars hit wherever they go. They're naturals.

Rumor has it that tomorrow we will be breaking out the good lineup with McCann in it.?
