I have made this point several times. He has played a better left field than advertised. He has made the routine play and several that bordered on darn good. Calling for the ball might be another issue.

Boston works with the outfielders. Learning the proper technique to call for the ball is baseball 101. Disgusting!

Although I would agree Steverson hasn't been given all stars...isn't improvement expected in every players approach. I like Abreu but he is not one of those type people. A contract of 2 or 3 years at about 12 million per would be fine with me. If he doesn't take whatever offer the Sox are offering than trade him. Empty handed at the end of the year doesn't work for me.

If Colome / Bummer is considered to be the missing ingredient on a championship caliber team...Hahn will extract a very good return. Hahn is very good at this when he has something to sell.
