Use your eyes Balta. You've seen them both. McCann is the best all around catcher we've had since AJ. I know it's fun to debate these issues but I'll bet you think so too.

That's fine then. Just extend them and move on to the next issues. Finding two starters and a right fielder.

Just ship them...we don't need anything in return. Three roster spots is ample reward.

Hope it's not McCann or Abreu.

Very happy to see this. Nothing to lose.

Colome and Abreu are easy decisions. Either you get something good or you keep them.

Every wining team has some Yolmer / Leury types. They help get you through DL stints and the long hot days of summer.

That trade won't be happening.

A very flexible group don't you think?

Jon Jay was being paid 8 million by the Cubs in 2017. Played center field adequately for several championship teams. Very much reminds me of a Leury Garcia kind of guy. Not a star but finds ways to be useful. This injury along with Alonso suckage just adds to the off season frustration. Jay taken on his own was a reasonable add that just didn't pan out.

That start by committee the Yankees used was pretty effective. Ricky should give it a try.

That's what you expect to pay for a reliable closer. They don't come for free.

He is exactly what we should be looking for. A player ready for the majors but blocked.

You don't win many games when you can't score a run.

Well...one thing is certain...we need a minimum of six runs...probably more.

I will never understand why Coop doesn't insist Lopez work fast and aggressive. Every time he starts this slow crap he implodes.

Not entertaining so far. Need an exciting finish to the game. Want to send a nice sized crowd home happy.

Can he pitch?

That is a heck of a stat isn't it. Need some swing and miss in your arsenal.

When Lopez pitches slow and tentative the roof falls in.

Nice to play in front of a good crowd.

Any lineup without Alonso works for me. I do think the 5 spot is good for Eloy at this point.

Both interesting names. Any idea of what the asking price might be?

I like that trade even now that Avi is gone. We won it.

Getting some of that pitching now will help keep the momentum. No reason not to enjoy some wins while we wait for next year. Wining helps create the atmosphere you need to compete long haul.
