Which pending FA should Sox target at deadline?
Every team including the WS can always use a stud pitcher be he starter or reliever. As for position players...I am happy to play with what I've got thanks. We have a comradery seldom seen on any sports team IMO. Leave it alone.

Spanky Love!
Yep...he and Madrigal have been relentlessly bad-mouthed and are among our most productive players. Both players are gritty old-fashioned types. They both help you win ballgames.

Madrigal.
There are so many fine ballplayers on this team...we all don't need to agree on which ones we like the best. Time to drink the WS Kool-aide and get on board the train...it's about to pull out of the station.

Madrigal.
I don't see anything but a real nice career. We can't predict 18-year careers for anyone but some do accomplish that type of longevity. Madrigal is as likely as anyone on this team to have a long and successful major league career,

The WS will need to show up and play to their capabilities. They look to be good enough to beat a team that would take them for granted.

Madrigal.
If he plays 15-20 years and gets his 3000 hits with that .330 batting average you mention...he will be in the HOF. BTW...his defense will be better than some here think IMO. He is looking better each day as he is adjusting to the ML game and gets over his shoulder issue.

Madrigal.
Luke made 42 errors in his first 104 game season. Nellie hit below .200 in his first two partial seasons totaling 39 games. Hall of fame careers requires long and healthy years so really can't be predicted for anyone. I do think Madrigal has the tools to be a special player providing his health holds up.

Twins don't have the pitching for that kind of winning percentage IMO. I am more worried by Cleveland and not very worried at that. We are not playing our best yet and when that happens...lookout. As always...injuries are what scare me.- Madrigal.
Luke Appling and Nelson Fox are both in the Hall of Fame with Madrigal's skill set. His ceiling will satisfy my definition of "great."- Playoff odds
I hate off days.☹️- Texas @ Sox
Lamb will be sent down when Engel returns IMO. Leury and Hamilton have more situational uses than Lamb.- balls and strikes umpiring
I am in favor of the automated strike zone. Getting the call right is the primary objective.- Texas @ Sox
I like how things are going recently but I wish TL would stop with the Garcia love.- Madrigal.
My guess is Madrigal will spend time at leadoff, 2nd and 9th as time progresses. Nellie Fox was the prototype of a Madrigal batting 2nd and that is where I believe we will eventually settle.- The Makings of a Juggernaut?
Actually...highly probable.- Texas @ Sox
What a coincidence...so do I.?- Adam Eaton v. Joc Pederson v. Nomar Mazara
Watching Eaton in RF and Mercedes at DH instead of Mazara and EE... has allowed most of us to take a step back from the ledge.- That’s a Nicky Two Strikes Winner!!
Thank God Nicky was there to bail out all our sluggers.- Texas @ Sox
Pesky...is the least of it. Pain in the ass is their long suit.- Texas @ Sox
Hopefully with the same result.- The Yermin-Vaughn-Abreu Conundrum
Need to sigh Mercedes to an Eaton-like extension. There will be a buying frenzy if NL approves the DH. I would like to find a way to keep him...but for sure don't want to end up empty-handed.- The Makings of a Juggernaut?
Overall things are looking good. Relief pitching has been my biggest concern...but we have the horses to get er done.- Texas @ Sox
I really like what Hamilton brings to the late innings with speed and defense off the bench. - Playoff odds
