Lamb will be sent down when Engel returns IMO. Leury and Hamilton have more situational uses than Lamb.

I am in favor of the automated strike zone. Getting the call right is the primary objective.

My guess is Madrigal will spend time at leadoff, 2nd and 9th as time progresses. Nellie Fox was the prototype of a Madrigal batting 2nd and that is where I believe we will eventually settle.

Watching Eaton in RF and Mercedes at DH instead of Mazara and EE... has allowed most of us to take a step back from the ledge.

Yep...I have seen firsthand what Nellie Fox meant to a championship club. I don't know if Nicky can win the MVP as Fox did... but it will be fun to watch him try.

Some of you need to join the WS scouting program. People who can spot a player's floor and ceiling after 45 games would be invaluable.

Good point. Maybe if they load the bases for extra innings...we will rarely see an 11 inning game. I wonder where all these baseball fans are who are clamoring for these changes to the national pastime?
