Twins don't have the pitching for that kind of winning percentage IMO. I am more worried by Cleveland and not very worried at that. We are not playing our best yet and when that happens...lookout. As always...injuries are what scare me.

Luke Appling and Nelson Fox are both in the Hall of Fame with Madrigal's skill set. His ceiling will satisfy my definition of "great."

I hate off days.☹️

Lamb will be sent down when Engel returns IMO. Leury and Hamilton have more situational uses than Lamb.

I am in favor of the automated strike zone. Getting the call right is the primary objective.

I like how things are going recently but I wish TL would stop with the Garcia love.

My guess is Madrigal will spend time at leadoff, 2nd and 9th as time progresses. Nellie Fox was the prototype of a Madrigal batting 2nd and that is where I believe we will eventually settle.

Actually...highly probable.

What a coincidence...so do I.?

Watching Eaton in RF and Mercedes at DH instead of Mazara and EE... has allowed most of us to take a step back from the ledge.

Thank God Nicky was there to bail out all our sluggers.

Pesky...is the least of it. Pain in the ass is their long suit.

Hopefully with the same result.

Need to sigh Mercedes to an Eaton-like extension. There will be a buying frenzy if NL approves the DH. I would like to find a way to keep him...but for sure don't want to end up empty-handed.

Overall things are looking good. Relief pitching has been my biggest concern...but we have the horses to get er done.

I really like what Hamilton brings to the late innings with speed and defense off the bench.

The M & & M all had great games. Vaughn is reminding me of Robin Ventura's 0-41 streak when it finally ended. Grandal is making me miss McCann something fierce.

That play looked every bit as bad as the one that hit him in the head the other day.

Not quite...more like the All-Star break.

Moncada and Madrigal will both be part of the next WS team. No reason to be bashing either of them.?

Sorry to hear that...probably something else Madrigal did wrong.

Fans are passionate about "our team"...why else would we watch night after night?

To be clear...I am confident that Madrigal has the floor of a reliable everyday 2nd baseman. My hope is for him to challenge Fox as a WS legend.

Yep...I have seen firsthand what Nellie Fox meant to a championship club. I don't know if Nicky can win the MVP as Fox did... but it will be fun to watch him try.
