Looks like murders row compared to last game. Can't wait to see Engel back. Leury is working on my last nerve.

I don't want to see him at all except for some late-inning fill-in work in blowouts. Really hard to understand TL using Leury so heavily. When coaches work so closely with the manager...one would think they would raise the issue.

This really is dumb when you have Mercedes on the bench.

I always try to find a reason why the baseball people do what they do. After all...they are the professionals. This lineup is beyond what the most open-minded of fans can understand. I wish our announcers would shed some light on what appears a foolish use of resources. Four bench guys playing in the same game is just over the top.

Noone is saying last night's game was TL's finest moment...not even Tony. Actually, TL actually admits when he feels he blew it more than most.

I think it was Anderson (not sure) who was commenting a few days ago about TL being 3 or 4 steps ahead of everyone else. I'm sure you get the point...real ballplayers respect his knowledge of the game.

Well, we all have posters whose opinions we enjoy hearing more than others. I'll live.

Let's face it...fans are on a high when we win and the depth of despair when we lose. All the situations you mentioned made me upset as well. I was attempting to get people back off the ledge but apparently, it comes across as my being a huge TL booster. For the record...I said when he was being considered I preferred others and was glad when he was fired the first time. Once he was hired...he "is" the manager of my team and I will try to see the good in him. I sure hope that any person hired as a manager knows more about baseball than those of us on this forum.
