Vaughn might end up being the Leury of the end-of-year lineups. With the struggle to keep Robert, Eloy, Mercedes, and Abreu in the everyday lineup and Vaughn being the only guy with some versatility. Vaughn will end up playing almost every day without a position to call his own.

I think it was a classless move. You just don't take back something freely given IMO.

The lineup looks so much better with our 3, 4, 5 & 6 hitters in our current lineup.

Under the circumstances, a win is in our best interest.

I like Mercedes and want him in the lineup every day. However, when you don't show up for work on time or don't follow orders to take a pitch...Managers can't let the inmates run the asylum. That's just employer/employee relations in all businesses. TL should handle these things in the clubhouse...not discussing them out in public, however.

Engel must have the worst hamstring injury of all time. Is there anything known about what is going on? Just like Vaughn and Mercedes befit from the Eloy injury...this would have been a golden opportunity for Engel to show the kind of player he has the potential to be.

I have started to really appreciate what Hamilton brings to the club. His speed shows up quite frequently on both offensive and defense. His defense in center is so important that we just have to live with his hitting until Engel is available. If the choice is Hamilton or Garcia...I pick Hamilton.

I agree but 7 inning games make it harder to recover after giving up big leads.

Today's win puts TL within 14 games of 2nd place all-time in manager wins.

If I said who my favorite is everyone would jump on me so it needs to be a secret. His name starts with an M for a clue. Actually...I have quite a few that would make it to the final cut, however.
