Agreed. I couldn't care less about the All-Star game. The selection system makes the game meaningless.

When Robert and Engel are both back there is no doubt in my mind that Eaton is the odd man out. Money might keep him through this year... but I doubt it. Sheets has the look of a guy not intimidated by the major league game.

Sheets will have something to say about this IMO.

I think a DH who can play a little left field is perfectly fine for Eloy, They put Vaughn in at third when Moncada got hurt the other night. Can't imagine doing that with Eloy.

I don't have an opinion on Burger yet but Sheets looks like the real deal to me.?

Yep...and that's why Eloy will be our DH of the future.

I have already said the NL will approve the DH at the next bargaining session IMO. That makes quite a few potential customers.

I agree. Why was Beckham signed if not for situations like this?

That's why I love FA's in the offseason...they just cost money.

That would cool my jets considerably.

That 2017 draft is looking better all the time.?

Good...I would really like this acquisition.

When you are right...you are right.

You have the entire NL to sell to next year in all probability. He will have some value IMO.

Sheets has a beautiful swing. I think he may be the real deal.

Agreed...and Mercedes has built "some" trade value.

I think you might just be right. Frazier would be a hugh get IMO.

I agree...he is very useful when used correctly.

Yep.

The pros had them rated as division favorites going into this season. I wonder what makes them the experts. ?

A few more runs would feel good.

I don't disagree but you have to admit...he has a nice swing.

I agree. Sheets has calmed the feeling of desperation I was experiencing only a week ago.

Eaton may become the WS version of Walter Pipp.

I certainly have found myself looking forward to the Sheets at-bats.
