I know...but I am speaking now with the emergence of Burger& Sheets and the return of Engel.

I noticed in last night's game that he wasn't doing his happy-go-lucky and laugh at everything act. I wonder if someone thought to suggest he should try to keep his head in the game a little more earnestly.

The Cards are 9 games back. Sox give up a B-level prospect for Molina. Good to go.

It was a great game to announce to the baseball world that we are for real.

It's a Dodgers problem. Where can we play all the good players? Poor us.

We need to try him at 2nd base. Maybe he will be adequate much like Vaughn has been a pleasant surprise in left. That homer was 456 feet with 115 exit velocity.

I agree. Starting to feel like the Dodgers with a lineup of stars to use in a variety of ways.

Yes, he does...and this has got to stop,

I wonder if St. Louis would do TRL a solid and give Molina a chance at another playoff run, Good for everyone involved I would think. Last year's catching was one of our biggest strengths...now we look desperate.

I agree with your good thoughts. After 5 wins in a row, we lose a game and the sky is falling. Shoddy fielding and poor relief pitching always make a team look terrible. This was just a game we never were going to win...I've moved on. Climb back off the ledge and win tomorrow's game.

Now let's come back and win this thing.

If this was Hollywood...Lopez comes in ... holds down the Astros and we come back for the win.

I agree with you but there is no denying that the Astros are very good. I fear them more than any other team.

Amazing how the ball always seems to find the weak link.

Nothing to lose if used in the right spots...meaning blowouts. Might create a little value out of nothing. RH probably wants to find out if he has anything worth keeping him on the 40 man roster.

We should do more trades with the Cubs if they are that easy to please.

Boy...you're really good.

I am very happy with our current position. 15 teams are 8 or more games back of first in their respective divisions. Therefore half the teams in baseball should be sellers IMO. Our need is a rental 2nd baseman upgrade, and 1 or 2 quality relief pitchers. Just shouldn't be very hard to find those improvements without giving up our high-end prospects.

If the first time we see Lopez is in a game on the line situation...I just may lose it.

Welcome back to losing 4-hour games.

Where is it being reported that Lopez is joining the club?

Yep...got all caught up on Netflix.

Seems like a good rule...talk about someone who has nothing.

Anything other than spot start works for me.
