The backup players keep getting the job done. Some of the regulars...not so much. I do like the versatility that Vaughn has been developing as it really helps in these NL games.

I was just wondering to myself what Zavala would want for those 3 balls. I'll bet he wouldn't take $10,000. It's his piece of immortality.

I agree. TLR has been wise to not push Vaughn faster with such limited experience ...but now is the time IMO.

He started Gio instead of TBA.

Nice segue.

Better take out the patent before someone steals your idea.

Yep...I know. Me too.

And then you woke up.

I am happy to wait for as long as it takes to bring back Robert healthy and ready to play.

Thus starts the long day with no game. Ugg....

Thanks for the reminder to keep late October through early November open.

You do know he is right-handed, don't you?

Yeah...I am pretty sure you're right about that.

I am not for trading Moncada but certainly don't think he is untouchable. If you can trade Madrigal you can trade anybody.?

Yep....we are all getting health conscious these days.

It would be nice if he turns into something. Seems small at 5'10 and 160 lbs.

Maybe he could celebrate with a 3 homer night. The stadium would go nuts.

I agree with you. Seby has certainly picked up a few fans of his own. He is the best defensive catcher in the organization IMO.

I certainly hope not.

My player of the game is Lopez. Pitched like he wasn't afraid and with a decent pace. He could help a lot in the early inning relief appearances.

I've seen more than enough of Goodwin. He is in no position to be dogging it.

I don't disagree but I doubt this is happening.

I liked what I saw with the bat...especially that he knows how to bunt. He didn't have many chances to show off defensively other than he covered 1st base nicely on that Cleveland bunt. Want to see him turn the DP and cover some grounders before I can say I like him. Overall I thought he looked very good.

Mendick seems like a nice guy but he's no Madrigal.

Robert is our next big move. Not long now. Can't wait.
