Eovaldi received 4 years at 68 million. You are probably right in thinking that is roughly the ballpark of what the ask is for Rodon. If he keeps it up...65-80 for 4 years is an educated guess. Whatever happens, this has been a steal at 3 million.
Your response to Tray's post is clever but unfair. Tray has a very good percentage of likes to postings. That means that a fair number of us enjoy what his post have to say IMO. Perhaps you meant to add a smiley face. In that case...carry on.
Bad at-bat but good overall game. Big HR and works well with Rodon. Like another poster suggested earlier...Collins catching Rodon and Gio would work for me. Collins and Vaughn both looking better all the time IMO.
Yep...however, we all know his best use is as a late-inning base runner or defensive sub. If Engel were back today I would be fine with the current guys. Since Engel isn't apparently ready anytime soon...RH really needs to find an answer.
Agreed! Power hitters give up some average to swing for the fences...high BA and OBP guys give up some power for better bat control. I don't care about Nicky hitting homers...it just isn't his game.
We constantly get into these back and forth name-calling battles of who can make the most clever snide remarks. Have any of you ever changed the mind of a single poster? Topic after topic gets taken over by these back and forth arguments where everyone restates what has already been said time and again.
KC is running into the buzz saw of Rodon, Lynn, and Gio. Let's find that upgrade for the outfield and start putting distance between us and the also-rans.
That's why I agree with those who don't want decade-long contracts given out. How many years did the Angels get a top producer? He hasn't been exceptional for 4 years or more.
