  1. I was going to express the same "house money" thought. This game never felt good until the last out. Now it's time for us to the doubleheader while the Indians are feeling shell-shocked.
  2. McKenzie is not very good. I'll take TBD.
  3. I wasn't a fan of TL's early lineups...but lately, he is finding the way IMO.
  4. For sure it is where he will end up IMO. His bat control skills are made for the 2 hole.
  5. I agree with you. Look how much better Madrigal is at 2nd base compared to what a butcher Moncada was at 2nd. Nick doesn't make the acrobatic play that gets the attention but is actually pretty solid IMO. Made a nice over the should catch out in short right just yesterday.
  6. And the potential to be 5 wins.
  7. Most fans not seeing the games...if told of the injuries to Eloy/Robert/Engel would have presumed our record to be sub.500 I would guess. Mercedes and Rodon have been extrodinary and every player on the team has contributed along the way IMO, The team chemistry is off the charts and I give lots of credit to Tim, Jose, and yes...TL.
  8. Bummer has become our primary concern other than the injuries IMO.
  9. He sure did a great job of putting Hamilton in the lineup in game two.
  10. I hope he plays all three days or I might be throwing a fit,
  11. Vaughn might end up being the Leury of the end-of-year lineups. With the struggle to keep Robert, Eloy, Mercedes, and Abreu in the everyday lineup and Vaughn being the only guy with some versatility. Vaughn will end up playing almost every day without a position to call his own.
  12. I think it was a classless move. You just don't take back something freely given IMO.
  13. Yep...with our current situation, I would think Sheets would get a chance NOW.
  14. Don't think many left-handers want to face this lineup.
  15. ."Negative attitude"...where do you get this crap. Oh yeah...have a safe holiday yourself.?
  16. The lineup looks so much better with our 3, 4, 5 & 6 hitters in our current lineup.
  17. Under the circumstances, a win is in our best interest.
  18. A win today would go a long way in removing the bad taste of yesterday's loss.

I hope it's the WS doing the 3-4 year offer.
  20. Twinks for 2 out of three.
  21. I like Mercedes and want him in the lineup every day. However, when you don't show up for work on time or don't follow orders to take a pitch...Managers can't let the inmates run the asylum. That's just employer/employee relations in all businesses. TL should handle these things in the clubhouse...not discussing them out in public, however.
  22. If they stick to the script...Lamb will have a big night.
  23. You and me both.
  24. Engel must have the worst hamstring injury of all time. Is there anything known about what is going on? Just like Vaughn and Mercedes befit from the Eloy injury...this would have been a golden opportunity for Engel to show the kind of player he has the potential to be.
  25. I have started to really appreciate what Hamilton brings to the club. His speed shows up quite frequently on both offensive and defense. His defense in center is so important that we just have to live with his hitting until Engel is available. If the choice is Hamilton or Garcia...I pick Hamilton.
