Ok, this place was fun for a couple of days leading up to the deadline (and with the couple weeks worth of decent ball-playing), but now the negative nellys are back to tell us all repeatedly how awful this team will be for the next few months, so I’ll dip back out. I’ll watch the games and enjoy as long as the passable play continues. My expectations are low, so I’ll be glad for any wins and even hard-fought losses. It’s still light years better than last season.

I get what people are saying in terms of maybe getting something of value at the deadline if Tim can rebound, but I think Getz really wanted to clean house of the bad attitudes. I think our trade deadline guys are Cease, Eloy, and Moncada. If they can have a good first half, ship ‘em and kick this latest rebuild into high gear.
