Ya kinda gotta dangle the hook all over the lake and see what’s best to reel in relative to cost. Escobar, Frazier, Story, and who knows who else. You gotta test the waters on anyone who could conceivably make sense. Story seems like a stretch to me, but maybe it makes the most sense in the end. We shall see.

I’d rather Eloy was DHing and Vaughn was in left, thanks, at least for the remainder of this season. No reason whatsoever to risk Eloy’s (and anyone he may run into’s) health by putting him anywhere but the batter’s box.

I like watching the Sox beat up on inferior teams like the Tigers, but I would love to see the Sox turn in three solid showings against a quality team like the Rays. Don’t need to win them all, though that would be preferable; just play smart and keep ‘em close.

Yes, you’re a “thinker” because you predict declining results. Of course Jose will someday not be a successful Major League Baseball player. But that day is not today. Nor is it likely soon, given he was the MVP last year.
